I have a feeling that they are building this hype for the game with excellent cinematic trailers, but the gameplay itself will be an updated PAYDAY 2 to the point where they should call the game DINNERTIME.

Like they did with Payday 2? I think PD2 web series (live action) was a good way to tell background stories. I don't like these kind of thing because usually just action scene with little narrative.

I know we all want gameplay but I think it was smart to have a small introduction trailer for all 4 protagonists it gives us a look into their mindset and morals now that the world's ended. Im sure we'll get gameplay soon enough.

Technically the TV show has done all of the comic storylines before the 2 year gap so season 9 will be a fresh slate and I believe that Carl took over Andre's comic book death both got bit while saving people and Rick was sad and I also think Rick's head might be on one of those sticks outside the base just like in the comics when the Whisperers revealed themselves.

Overkill, Are you guys working on CGI trailers all day long? Or actually working on gameplay? This is one of those games that create hype, and in the end it disappoints. The fact that you'all showing us that there are multiple characters shows that this game isn't going to have a solid story. it's from starbreeze, who made the darkness and syndicate 2012, despite criticisms they do know how to make good fps gameplay (they also made a brother tale of two sons, so you could also be right)

I'm seeing a lot of comments of people complaining about not seeing any gameplay yet. Why are you complaining? If you're here to complain, you don't have to play the game. The game still has a few months until release and E3 is here. I mean, we are talking about the company that made Payday. It's also endorsed by The Walking Dead companies and partners such as Skybound. It's not a shot in the dark. They know exactly what they're doing and I truly believe this game will be good. Give it some time, please.

this reminds me of the Ambush scene from The Last of Us how Heather smashes the woman's face right through the glass window and the shards piercing her neck complete reminiscent to how Joel slam the guy's neck on the glass shards as well.

Nah you're wrong and if it was why would they have 4 trailers of different character's I think the game will be like Dead island where it's open world survival / co-op game if you choose to play with friends most likely people can't kill each other only Ai enemies like Dying light. And this game has been in development before battle royale was even a thing.
