Pure sledgehammer of doom shit right here...at it's absolute most menacing. Amazing how well this has held up after all those years...nothing in today's music (that I've heard) even comes close. A true stone cold classic.

@@eyellgeteven9928 A very influential song for its time. Overkill was a very important for the downtuning and slowing of the direction of metal in the early '90s, like Pantera for example.

Reign in Blood, Among the Living, Peace Sells... but Who's Buyin?, Master of Puppets, The Years of Decay. There has never been a better group of albums released. Somehow AIC's Dirt belongs there. Agreed?

When we were in our teens we built a Honda ATC 250r with a 500r dirt bike engine. 500cc two stroke with 3 wheels. We named it skullkrusher because of this song. Every one of us was shit scared of it. We sold it and the guy that bought it killed himself on it trying to race it on the highway.

I revised the lyrics a little bit...."oh take me away on the ride of my life, oh take me away STOOLPUSHER" for anybody that would rather listen to a 1980's or 90's hair band and most rappers and most commercialized Radio stations. Take a ride on overkill machine and you might not ever get off cause they totally kicks ass. Always have, and always will!
