I’m blown away by the craftsmanship on this build. Very nicely done.

This build is phenomenal. You guys should start a business making these out of isuzu 4x4 with suspension upgrades. The american market is slacking on this. SLRV type vehicles would be popular here. This approach vs the earthroamer or 27 north style with the pickup truck is far superior as the total vehicle has way less length. And the break between the cab and the box makes for better off road performance.

Thank you for the compliment, however we have no current desire to start any business 😅 - just wanna enjoy exploring!!

Not sure how I found your build, but WOW. I have just started looking at your posts on Instagram and I am absolutely blown away at the level of detail and craftsmanship. You two have done hands down the best overland build I have ever seen. Congrats and enjoy your new home.

Wow. I love it. Made the most out of the space you were given, amazing job. Would love to purchase your engineering plans for the build, if possible.

That’s an awesome compliment! The plans might be hard to come by though as they’re all hand drawn step by painstaking step by Keith - and some are probably still floating around in his brain somewhere! We did document most of the build on our instagram account (same name).

Pretty cool setup. I saw your rig in Magnolia, AR today.

Yep! We picked up a little diesel in Magnolia on Monday 😄

Great use of space, most sacrifice either square feet (so we can get to beautiful locations) or stunning camping locations(we take too much stuff and our rigs are the size of a small house) but you found a solution to have your cake and eat it as my grandfather use to say. Great build i hope the both of you plan on international travel destinations as well, safe travels.

Thanks, after living in for 10 months over the last 14 months we haven’t found any major Thing we would change. We truly didn’t leave anything home. We bought everything we wanted and still have room.

Beautiful build. I love the use of space and the porch. I just picked up my 1079A1 and would love to pick your brain further when you have some time. Any chance you can provide some links to items sometime down the road? IE. Cabinets drawers, electrical components, bed actuator, etc? Thanks so much!
@NOMADventures360Ай бұрын
A conversation would probably be a great idea at some point as probably 95% of the components of our build is custom built by us. For example, cabinet/drawer frames, drawers, faces…all built by us but glides and latches we can point you in the right direction, same with electrical - we did the work but bought all Victron components. Hit us up when you have specific questions!!

Hey, also, check out steelsoldiers.com (you may have to go through a small vetting process to get access) for a LOT of really good data for LMTVs. We have posted a lot of details about our build - search “Keith’s M1078A1 Project Overland” to see that documentation and you can reach out from there for more personal interaction as well!

If you post a video on KZfaq please film it on landscape mode so we can appreciate it well when we watch them on a big screen… not this format, just a suggestion.

Thanks!! We’re enjoying the heck out of it right now…so she might be a tad grimy and in need of a bath, lol!

Great job on the truck, really smart design! May I ask what type of plug you guys used in the shower to keep the water from coming up? And did you make the bathroom sink custom or did you source it from a manufacturer?
@NOMADventures36018 күн бұрын
Great questions, we bought a large tapered rubber plug from Lowes and jam it in there with our foot. Custom made sink starting with a 2 1/2" Deep Steam Table Pan from Amazon.

Hi guys. It was great meeting you today. Rhonda and I are watching your walk through. What a beautiful setup you have. Is that an eSpring you have for your water?
@NOMADventures360Ай бұрын
It was great meeting you today too!! By the way, lunch was phenomenal (we had the boudin burger 🤤 and bought food to go for dinner)!!! We have a Guzzle H2O system for our “inside” filtration and UV purification system. We use a typical RV filter just outside the water tank when we pull from a known safe source and have a Sawyer filter for pre-filtering water from an “unknown” source.

Amazing build.... Can you give the dimensions of the box and the height under the bed when it's up
@NOMADventures360Ай бұрын
The exterior dimensions of the habitat box (original military) are 8 feet wide x 8 feet tall x 12 feet long. Height under the bed is just under 6 feet.
