Morocco Overland - Day 8
A brief tale of the exploits of 9 people, 4 LandRover Discoveries and a LandRover Defender 90!
A trip to Morocco joining people from UK, Denmark, Luxembourg, Germany.
Travelling through France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Spain and onward to Morocco. In a trip first planned in 2018!! Delayed by Covid and a long time coming!

Very windy over this way!! fence panels out and the like. Clive your luck with tyres doesn’t seem to get any better 🤨great videos.

Enjoying the videos thanks. I see you have various different roof tents and awnings fitted to the vehicles. I would be interested in a comparison of all the set ups you have to help me decide which one to go for. 👍

I had planned to do a brief of each car setup as theyre all different, but there just wasn't really time. This time anyway....

Preparing itinerary for our trip and tried to take some info from your vids. It is shame that you didn’t mention name La Grotte Akhiam instead of saying rock formation near Bou Azmou. Especially when it is like 3 villages far from it closer to Agoudal… It may be more helpful to call things with their names and maybe share more detailed maps of some tracks…. Or is it on purpose

not on purpose no, just couldn't remember what it was called. but you've done your research and found it, so that's good. Many of the tracks are available on WikiLok or through the book Morocco Overland by Chris Scott. Although we did find that some of the 'tracks' have since been upgraded to tarmac or at least to a graded road. But thats progress for you. Conversely, some roads had been washed out and alternative river routes were in place (for the dry season of course).
