Sure was a bunch of really cool rigs there. A great place to see a bit of everything. I like that shade on the Jeep next to you that didn't have any poles to get in the way, as I'm a bit clumsy. Thanks for taking us along.

@@OverlandFlorida I was lucky to find a spot in Ft De Soto about 2 months ago with a few weeks prior reservation, I assume someone cancelled. Anastasia State Park in St Augustine Beach is also hard to get in unless you book almost a year ahead. I'll be on the lookout for the Feb 2023 meet up and hopefully meet you in person! :)

@@garryeadon9962 It's what I see on the calendar and let me correct, this is for stays of more than just 1 night. I put myself on a waiting list for all of the loops and I might as well just not go as it's in less than 2 weeks and who knows what effects this Nicole storm is going to have in that beach. Blowing up literally the last few spots for us locals... One. By. One. Someone else mentioned in the comments about a spot in fort DeSoto and you said "good luck finding a spot on the weekends." Well ya, when "KZfaqrs" keep mentioning in detail all these locations that's going to keep happening. Your part of that circle bro. I love watching your videos and seeing you guys have fun with these beautiful rigs,but don't drop the location of these rare spots. When the heck did the skyway spot get a Google page???? Answer: Right after a couple KZfaq videos. Now theres a gatdam DJ playing music there every Sunday morning like it's some kinda rave. You can't even hear the waves anymore.

These spots have nothing to do with me. They were busy back when I was in grade school. Ft. Desoto is hard to get a spot because it's so popular. I can't help that snow birds come from all over the county and book sites well in advance so us locals can't even camp at our own state and county parks. The skyway beach is now locked at night, not because some oVeRlAnDeR youtuber, but because of huge raves that would happen all night long and drug use. It has its own Google page because of the many kite boarders that gather here on the regular.

Never said a beach got shut down. I’m saying you are contributing to the popularity of a old school Florida beach spot. Is that wrong of you? No. Is that your business? Yes. But don’t be surprised when these places start getting paved, paid parking, and reservation only in the coming years, as you were a part of that circle bro. In a lot of ways, we all are a part of that circle, but people with farther reach than “word of mouth” ie KZfaq, accelerate the process… All in all don’t take it personal, I often get snippy when the skyway spot gets mentioned on KZfaq. Keep doing what you’re doing, just think about it as you grow the channel. Maybe I’ll see you out there, we’ll have a beer. I’m there at least once a month I’m driving a grey lifted Sequoia on 33s and a full rack, we’re usually parked next to a small teardrop we bring for the kids nap time. I’d love to check out the maverick in person.✌️
