Hi, great video. I am currently looking to either buy or build some draws for the FJ and came accross this vid. I really like these draws especially the sloping angle of the fronts that match the curve of the back door, way smarter than the traditional straight up look - Good Choice : ) Note sure If I can get these in New Zealand but will definatly design mine the same way if I build. Great video.. what about getting to the bottle jack on driver side? I am looking at the one you have a other one for mine why I ask. Price imo is reasonable

You can remove the side cover and slide out the bottle Jack. But I would probably just keke the bottle Jack in the drawer system for faster access to it.

Hi Bro, I am ordering this drawer and I saw you are using the Bison dropdown table mounted on your rear door. Can I please ask how do you fix that table with this drawer? I believe there is not much clearance when you close the back door, innit?

Don't forget my discount code GOATX5OFF to save you 5% off your order. The height at which you mount the bison table is important and I did another video on that. I haven't had any issues with the table rubbing the drawer system at all.

How do you access the jack and tool box on the L side bottom and the 400W outlet on the R with the tool box?

You can remove the side covers that allows you to access the Jack and tool kit. It also acts as a storage cubbie hole for more gear

how can you use the power point at the back of your FJ ? I believe it is on bottom right side?

The top of the drawer system has a removable cutout that allows you to access the side factory power port.

Miggs, the drawer box and drawer itself are made from galvanized steel. The face plate and trim plates are aluminum. The deck is made from an engineered plywood rated for load and has exceptional screw holding ability and structural integrity (i.e. it isn't a plywood from a hardware store, it is a brand name engineered wood made for structural items).

Great video, but it looks like you will loose access to the FJs rear inverter system…

Thank you for checking out the video. The drawer system actually stil gives you access to the inverter. There are two panels, one on each side of the drawer you can lift and they have a hole 🕳 in them you can run a cord to the inverter.

What about the space on the side of the drawer? Is that space lost?

No , there are open cubbie holes with wood covers so you can store items in there like recovery gear or even mount a power converter for a fridge.

How do you plug in your fridge with this system?

The drawer system has a cover you can open that allows you to access the rear power outlet. But I ran a ARB direct connect power plug through that cover to my group 31 battery.

One of the fab manufactures I was looking at suggested the rear fold down needed to be a half-length as opposed to full length in order to accommodate sufficient clearance for a fridge. It looks like you don’t have this issue with the Bison, your drawer manufacturer, and slide out fridge. Is that correct? Thanks again!
