In my head cannon, zelink is canon to the botw / totk timeline while milink is canon to the aoc timeline. The reasons for this are mainly a) mipha being alive b) the level of bond between link and zelda

Also He just got Sidon in trouble as revenge for all the times Sidon put things out of context whenever he spoke about Link to others (Aka Zelda, Purah, etc.) who knew Link was smart enough to pull this off oh wait overload did I forgot.
