You cant do this, this should be illegal, its too good, the song randomly popped on my playlist and when it came up it just pulled me in, relaxed every bone, every nerve,every muscle of my body, i became totally and utterly relaxed, like im drugged up, incredible.. maybe it was the night shift that i just did, or maybe the tire just added to the expirience, but whatever it was, it was rare.. i love it

Thank you Fred Again for leading me to this brilliant track. I find these percussive, atmospheric tunes to be utterly addicting. Feels more like a study in mood and texture that slowly envelops you if you let yourself get into it. The crisp drums and those mesmerizing synth pads really elevate this song, the tone feels both gritty and surreal.

This ones very likely gonna be the top spot on my most played from 2022 - there's just something so beautifully fascinating about this song. A sense of euphoria, a sense of release with the build ups. Monhs of listening and words can't describe how unreal this track is.

i saw overmono this past year and it was easily the best show i'd been to in many years. then this past weekend at a music festival, Bicep played a dj set in a field, boiler room set-up style, and it was slightly trickling rain as this song was playing. the sound system was insane and everyone lost it when this came on. when the bass dropped, you could feel everyone sway together and get lost in a trance together. unreal moment. thank you overmono, you guys are geniuses and make some of the most incredible music. never stop using that bass please!!

It feels like this has touched on most sub-genres in the UK electronic sound. Some more prominent and others in more subtle ways. It is a tune-a-rooney for sure!

In a bittersweet turn of events it sold out over the weekend, I think in part due to their mix on BBC Radio 6 on Friday, but they said it will be back in stock at some point! @@stephentrott hi mate, it's really quite a small pool as its a very unique sound. I'd say no one really sounds like Overmono, to their credit. but you can try some of the following - Joy Orbison, Skee Mask, Pearson Sound, DjRUM, Special Request, Avalon Emerson, Four Tet, Barker, Parris, Call Super to name a few. Ben UFO's essential mix would be a good place to start too.
