This time, we boarded the Ferry Sunflower Murasaki (Osaka→Beppu), which will be newly launched in April 2023. We will introduce you to many fascinating sceneries, gourmet foods, and Japanese culture on board.

This is the fanciest ferry I ever saw! I would want to stay for two weeks. Lovely looking buffets and everything is so clean and beautiful

14:30 - The automatic door in the hallway is to make it accessible for people in wheelchairs. Notice the blue "wheelchair" sign beside the door.

Osaka is a great city for blind people to navigate, the city pavements have the raised yellow tactile paths, and handrails also have Japanese Braille on them. Crossings have a loud message saying when it's safe to cross. I'm sighted, but I noticed these things in Japan years before I saw them in my own city in the UK.

Thanks for the message from the UK. In Japan, 'Braille' and 'voice-guided traffic lights' have been available for several decades. These are common not only in big cities, but also in provincial cities.
