We board an overnight ferry to the Greek islands! Embarkment is in Athens on a Blue Star ferry, which takes us to Kos during a 12 hour overnight sail. During this vlog we share a full tour of our cabin as well as the ferry and give our review of the journey.

One hour before your trip take dramamine to avoid motion sickness, also looking out in the window and getting fresh air also helps🙂Have fun in your travels❤

Good video. I was hoping to do the same ferry from Athens to Kos however arriving that early in the morning is really inconvenient imo.

Yes! I’m sure they have other sailings as well as plenty of connections throughout the islands 😉

Great video : D. I went to Athens with friends at the same time you guys were there. First time I'd ever been and it was fab. How much was the ferry you took to Kos please? I have used motion sickness wrist bands and they help. Enjoy your future travels x

Thanks Tracey 🙏🏼 we will try the wristbands in the future 😉 the ferry cost us around €88 each but we used our Interrail pass for a 30% discount 😁

We were in Greece last August and my friend traveling with me didn't think she would need one. 🌏She was so sick the entire 3 hours! 🤢 She went through so many of the nausea bags. She said she has never been sea sick in the past, but also never experienced these ferries,. I know for a fact if I wasn't wearing one, I would have been just as bad and I was perfectly fine! 🙂 I just subscribed to your channel.✅ This video was great. ‼We only took the fast ferry last year and this year we are booking this bigger ferry for an 8 hour journey back to Athens from Koufonisia. 🚢I am also trying to get my travel channel up and running. I⛹‍♂ have a true crime channel 🕵that is doing well, but my heart ❤is travel! Plus being a Greek American, I am trying to explore as much of Greece as possible and then of course other places. Nice video! Just only a notice: The office in 0:14 is not the central office of Blue Star Ferries. The office of Blue Star Ferries is 10 metres near of that you captured and is called "Gelasakis Travel".

These ferries are made for about two thousand passengers but they don't tell you how many are on board!😊😊😊

Hi great video!! I honestly do not think that having wifi packages is dated, even United airlines or big air companies like Lufthansa do this kind of practices, I think you are just a little bit spoiled😅 you want wifi? Pay it 😼

It’s quite a long distance! I guess you could always fly there if you wanted. But we try our best to balance economy/environment/ease of travel 🤔

It looks like the European under 26 years old have 50% off and takes all the cabins. And us, older fellows, we can just have a seat.

The pass is open to all ages! if you plan on using a few ferries you should check it out. Also, we're both over 30 😅

@@cjexplores It was more a general comment, not about you specifically. I have discover this Eurail pass a few days ago and I am changing all my trip. Early may should normally be quiet, but as this year orthodox Easter is May 5th, beds are not so easy to find. Anyways, thank you for the video and for the tips :).

Seriously, I understand that econo seats are 50% for young adults but not so much why it is the case for luxury cabins. It looks like the European Unions is trying to push the bobo culture very hard as it is pretty much the same all around Europe 😄.

@@cjexplores this video is a sad sight, like all these videologs which replaced instagram photos for many. Why are you putting yourself out there, to proof what?! To show everyone what everybody already knows, to trample beaten paths and destroy local sites and what you call authenticity. KZfaq and all your camera gear obviously fried your brain and hollowed you even more out than you already were, when you were born in a postmodern culture dominated by technology and the internet. The world has seen smarter generations which still had a sense for freedom, a concept you might never grasp
