It's equipped with solar power, water, a cozy bed, wood burning stove, and a micro kitchen! I could live like this. Small kitchen, small bedroom, small gaming area, small bathroom, HUGE personal space and amazing views. And I can just imagine how crisp that forest air is. Only problem is I'm scared of heights. 3 meters above the ground and my knees are tingling 😅

also the potential bears, mountain lions and maybe other creatures of the night😂 but carry a shotgun, hunting rifle, crossbow or bow, a hatchet, and hunting knife, and this could be a very nice place to live

@@dream8870Well hopefully they don't know how to open doors so I at least could be safe while inside. Also maybe adding a gate at the bottom of the stairs so the bears hopefully wouldn't even get to the door.

From what I've seen he's still a coddled gamer who probably hates nature but forces himself to go out to make videos giving him validation on KZfaq. You can see he is overweight and have no visible muscle on his body. He breath heavily after a 5 min walk, so he spend his days sitting inside while not making videos. He is acting a bit girly so maybe he's transitioning, in that case sry.

The moment you said you have a 2 hour drive to the Fire Tower I straight away thought of the 2 hour drive of the protagonist of Fears to Fathom. The level of work is insane! The lit up shot from the forest means you had to walk out there in the dark while freezing to get that shot, the drone shots, all of it! Hubby is a videographer so I fully understand the amount of work and up and down you had to do just to make this 40 minute video. 🤯

This video has made me want to plan a log cabin vacation. My country doesn't have massive national parks with these towers so a log cabin is probably the closest I'll get. The pointing out of the outdoor fire pit with the clean crisp air is what sold me. Gonna start planning soon.

I think the only thing that I would change with that place would be finding a way to have a back up power supply. Probably like a little rooftop, wind, turbine or something. But overall, I could definitely live in a place like that. Small little out-of-the-way environment. Little area for, living and gaming. A nice big bathroom. Little balcony to sit and have a nice cuppa coffee in the morning or a cool lemonade every now and again. A small barbecue and not to mention that absolutely crisp forest air. And the fact that you’re probably well enough outside of the range of city lights and all that stuff where you’d be able to see the stars. I mean, don’t get me wrong. There are amenities and stuff of like where I live right now that definitely are nice. But something like this I would really enjoy. Not only that, but it would be a great way to keep yourself in shape. You wouldn’t need to worry about , keeping your legs healthy because you have those stairs and that regular hike. Although I would probably get a small ATV. But overall, I would be able to live very comfortably that way.

The ultimate immersion. I used to live in the mountains in Washington state. I used to hike every day and id bring my switch or tablet with me. Id find a cozy spot and just play games for a few hours or watch something i downloaded to my tablet earlier. there is something so incredible about enjoying these things while you're in nature. some people think its stupid and assume you cant appreciate the beautiful nature but they couldn't be more wrong.

this video reminded me of my two month stay in Denmark exactly a year ago. I don't know why, because I wasn't staying in a fire tower, I wasn't there by myself but with two class mates of mine and we didn't stay at a forest, but a smaller place directly next to a little yacht marina. Yet I remember sitting on the balcony one evening in mid Fabuary in the dark and freezing just looking over the water, reflecting the lights and into the sky at the stars and instantly realizing how insanely lucky I was to get the chance to be in that moment of pure perfection. It's truely unfortunate how those two months, which I easily can classify as the most magical time of my life this far, will forever be tainted by myself failing to graduate my job training. However: I would do it all again if I had the chance! What a nice reminder of how good life can be

Man, what I wouldn't give to stay a couple nights in an oldschool fire tower. Peace, solitude, nature. Would feel like stepping 60-70 years back in time to when we had legitimate fire watches in forested lands. I have to say though I'm surprised you didn't take advantage of the fire pit on either evening while you were up top. Then again, I love any kind of fire pit....

That is incredible! My Dad maned a fire tower in Colorado but it was not like THAT! This was before I was born and I’m 70. So it had to be at least 80 years ago. It was all wooden. I could never walk up those steps myself and admire anybody who can

I just adore this. It was a huge dream of mine growing up to spend a summer working a firewatch tower. I held onto that dream through college, unfortunately in my area the towers had pretty much all been abandoned and that job became drone operated. So many people find that idea creepy or scary, but I think it would be peak relaxation and bring me so much peace. I would love to still get a small taste of that life by staying at an AirBnB like this, it's so darn beautiful~

I couldn't ever live in a firetower like that without a rifle with a NV scope. Just watching the video gave me chills looking outside in the pitch black area.

I’ve played 8 horror games in my life: Fnaf (all games completely) Phasmophobia Fears to Fathom (all episodes) Silent Hill 2 Affected: The Manor Lethal Company Until Dawn Soma I have got say, (excluding affected: manor since it’s VR) Fears to Fathom kept me on edge the WHOLE time in each episode and was the most enjoyable. Props to whoever created this masterpiece of horror

Whoever owns that place, should install a tall gate at the base or halfway up the stairs. One that you need to enter in a gate code to open for protection.

@@pitaguy522No one is going to see shit from the ground. If they're close then the angle will be too steep. If they're far enough to have an ok angle then there will be too much tree cover in the way.

This is my first time watching your channel... I love how you decked out your van. You utilized every inch of that space and it looks amazing and very comfortable for 1, maybe 2 people to live out of for a while. I've been thinking of doing the same with my daughter so seeing your van is encouraging that it can be done and still be comfortable. The Crows Nest Firetower was so awesome. I could seriously live in that thing. I'd have to book it for at least 3 to 4 nights to truly appreciate the beauty of that place. The Appalachian Mountains are gorgeous any time of year.
