Will I have to say. Whoever thought of this idea of trying out different style of van/car life is brilliant. I remember a time where you said youtube wasn’t working out as you would’ve hoped and you didn’t know if it’s worth continuing but I’m glad you did. This is honestly amazing to see. Thanks for pulling over for the horse. I used to have people speed past when I was riding along a rural gravel road and once they spooked my horse so bad I ended up on the ground and walking all the way back home because my horse left me and went home by herself.

Will, can I suggest a video idea. Interviewing all the owners of the campers/vehicles you've camped in. The main question is "What's the story behind this camper / vehicle setup" It could be a compilation video with clips from different interviews

I met a retired couple who had a set up like this. The husband had modified the back of the truck and put in a lot of storage. He had fresh water tanks and gas tanks hidden underneath, and that was connected to a tiny kitchen he had built in the back that included a sink. He also had one of those portable showers he could connect at the front. At night, he and his wife would just climb up into the tent, and he had it rigged to have a small TV in there 😂 It was really cool.

For all it’s (many) faults and quirks the Defender is still an icon that brings a smile to your face. Imagine a charming dog that occasionally pees on the carpet or refuses to do what it’s told but you love it anyway and everyone else wants to play with it.

My perfect set-up is- step into the camper, close the door, (if it's cold) turn heat on low, curl up bundled and sleep. Listen to the wind and rain, perfect ❤

I loved our roof tent, it was thicker canvas than this one and was cosy and warm even in winter. We have a 1963 Land Rover Ambulance converted to a camper now and it is our perfect set up.

Amazing living this channel. My ideal camper would be your camper van as both myself & my hubby are disabled so something like your van would be ideal and at least we could take our dogs and go away. Even for a few days.

I mean I own a roof top tent. One of the best things I could have brought tbh. But I have a tent box. So much easier to set up and less fall ping about in the wind. This is obviously a summer tent. Not meant for that type of weather 😂😂

Wales absolutely had brought the weather! Quite a nice couple of days for Wales! My ideal camping vehicle set up - not a Land Rover! (my experience of them, over decades, is that they’re cold, draughty, noisy and don’t have good visibility .... but then they’re not a luxury vehicle ..... perfect for what they’re built for, otherwise!)

Best motor l've EVER owned, a landie 90 TDI....honestly...l had 4 years of joy driving it up the north of Scotland with my collie. I also competed at 4x4 off roading competitions...broke my heart selling it (got into a financial crisis)...it HAD to go😢

They definitely did even if it was just leaf springs, trust me. The bane of many a squaddies life, having to clean those springs lying down with a wire brush and getting bits of grime and rust all over your face and in your hair. But yeah calling those leaf springs suspension is stretching it a bit I suppose.

Will dear, do you not know the difference between north and south east and west that you would park that thing sideways so that it could blow the top off? You are beginning to worry me , since I just found your channel. I’m 73 years old and wouldn’t make some of the choices you do. Thinking particularly of the Morris minor and the teardrop. You pulled on and parked in the square of the sleeping spot. I had a back that baby around so I could cut and run if needed without trying to back it up 😂😂😂😂😂😂. The guy with you giggles for me.
