For LRR's 20th anniversary we had a Sub-a-thon! In order to keep the sub-a-thon going without anyone having to be up over the entire night we put together some blocks of time from 2am - 6am PT of older content.

I honestly wasn't expecting the watch-a-longs to make it to youtube, so this is a pleasant surprise. Especially for things like commodoreHUSTLE that aren't otherwise available.

Yeah a lot of the Escapist-era has yet to be uploaded. As I understand it, they have the rights to upload them but they either don’t have the time to edit them and put them up. Don’t know if there are more technical hurdles or if it’s just been lower priority.

I've seen it at least a dozen times, and Drugs, Drugs, Drugs still makes me burst out laughing. Usually multiple times. It's such a good escalation of absurdity, on multiple axes at once!

I listen to TTC nickname episodes on repeat a lot and keep hearing the drug names as the one for Halo Fountain, but I hadn’t come back to the source material of drugs drugs drugs in some time. This is top shelf absurdity!

I’ve often wondered what the best way to introduce someone to LRR would be. Am I wrong in thinking this would work?

I've been considering the same question! I figure you'd get a couple of more targeted videos to hook them in (depending on which sub-series of theirs you think would be to their taste), then let them loose on this. If they're the type of person who likes to "learn as they go", or enjoys inductive reasoning, this'll serve well.

incredibly the only “fact” in the “football the whole story” sketch that irked me as a certified forced football understander was saying ‘glens of england’ glens are a scottish thing. the only reason this stood out was because it didnt seem like a purposely inaccurate fact.
