That's why the chassis slides out much earlier, to prevent this, if something like this happens, the chassis can be pulled out by its own weight.

amazing. I will admit that using other games for some scenes was extremely clever, and it really does put out the dangers of the rare airliner mishaps, and how serious passengers can be injured, or killed in these mishaps. an idea for a future movie: flameout, a story about how a jetliner loses all engine power mid-flight and how they have to bring it down before it's to late, and it would probably be a hit.
