It's a sad thing when civility is as precious as rain in a desert. I think Obama's presidency made certain factors of the rightwing rabid and radicalized enough to start the Tea Party and other organizations united in hate of the 'other' which is why hate of the immigrants is so easy and popular for those who took serious the issue with Obamas birth certificate. Politics has a cyclical call and response so the response of Obama and Black Lives Matter was Trump, Qanon and The Proud Boys which created an even deeper divide in diplomatic thinking, at this point the divide can only be overcome by a world shaking event to draw us all together. We are two species hard wired to care about different things and we have lost the ability to be civil in our differences - turn off the news, be as happy as you can, live your best life right NOW... we are all gonna die.

She felt guilt about canceling the planned dates so she went on one date with the two other guys to be nice, but the first guy the sister picked out turned out to be the perfect guy. Ann was restrained because she lost many gigs for being childish provocateur. The moment Trump was elected, Ann hated him. Ann was ignored by all the press, even Fox News dumped her, when they realised she adds nothing of substance. Biden is indeed a disaster because of his reckless border policy, and Trump has a real chance because of that.

There were a few times last night during the show I was agreeing with Van Jones. And even Ann was agreeing with him on some of the subject. It's the reason that Bill's show is so important. You can show that people who have some VASTLY different views AGREE on subjects. lets get those things fixed and then fight about the stuff we don't agree on, but in a reasonable, mature way. We all want the same goals, we just have different ways to get there.

I could have done without that horrendously biased woman in the blue shirt. Her very first words of the segment were a complete fabrication of how political lean has swung among young people. She's trying claim that young men have swung deeply conservative when the actual data shows that young men simply haven't moved and largely identify as moderate while women have swung wildly liberal and mostly identify as such. Look up the axios article on this to see what I mean.

If only it was that simple for both. I'm surprised young men aren't reacting on the freedom-for-birds side as to abortion rights. (not mandatory! have your baby, love ya!) because nowadays a bloke can get expected to pay support for 18 years for being a bloke now and then.
@zx7-rr4862 ай бұрын
Yes, the response from the woman in blue was complete leftist twaddle. The reason young men are increasingly leaning right is because they have been demonised and emasculated by the liberal left (people like her, I dare say) which holds power in all the key institutions of society. Phrases like "toxic masculinity" enter the vernacular. My son is 15, and they regularly lecture him about misogyny at his school, even though he is in an all BOYS school, and hasn't even had much of a chance to mix with girls. It's a constant subliminal psychological attack of "you're an evil white misogynistic male with toxic masculinity" and it is doing great damage, especially when the same message is being given to girls. It was so different when I was young, and we didn't grow up so insecure and hating ourselves. For the record, I think Andrew Tate is a total w@nker, but he is correct about many of the reasons the lack of self worth felt by young men.

Watching the broadcast episode's panel discussion (before overtime), I was disappointed that Maher went to the knee-jerk left-wing-media messaging about the need for more gun control in response to the parade shooting in KC - but this ignores the fact two of the shooters were JUVENILES who could not own or carry a gun legally in MO, so how would stricter gun laws have prevented the shooting?
