Hey Darren! Thanks for posting this. I'm playing this show in April, not sure yet whether I'm guitar 1 or 2 yet, but I have both books at the moment. I hope you won't mind answering a question... There are several places where it's very clear when you switch over to acoustic 6 or 12, but it doesn't tell you when or if you switch back to electric. Am I missing something? How do I know when to go back? Sometimes it's clear from markings like "dist," but for the most part it's not marked. What gives? Many thanks!

I will be playing this show using the guitar 2 book after seeing the music sounds like you played from book 2 also. I don't know which pedals to use seems mostly distortion on the electric guitar

Book 2 is 12-string acoustic, 6-string acoustic, and good Strat sounds. effects: distortion, lite crunch, clean. Prob have some kind of boost pedal for Waterloo at the end

Sorry for the delay. Everything was programmed in Line 6 amps and Boards. Gtr 2 wasn't much. clean, clean gain, dist, and dist

Playing this show this weekend The winner takes it all how did you play that did you finger pick or actually strum the chords out it actually moves along quite faster than I thought it would im having trouble getting the rhythm down strumming it

It would be headphones which allow him to hear the metronome beat and any instructions from the conductor or possibly stage management.

@@aidanlam5336 Those headphone are actually GK-music.com They are Isolation phones with Sony drivers. They are amazing! They do take awhile to get used to. They were developed by Gordy Knutson drummer for The Steve Miller Band..

why do u use power chords instead of the regular chords even tho the book says to use the regular chords?

Good Question. I switch around 2:32 mark to playing the thirds. I forget if the Music Supervisor (David Holcenberg who I believe still works with ABBA ) wanted it played like that or if I thought it sounded better. I think with that distortion type and playing the third was unnecessary. ?? try it both ways I guess to whatever sounds right to you.
