What are the most important things youve learned from arrge? Im never able to get out of platinum even though i out-aim most people i play against. My issues are more about game sense i guess so i focus a lot on dying less by positioning better and picking my fights, as well as improving my awareness of the team. I play solo mostly but sometimes duo.

@@menamgamg don’t think it’s gonna be a easy process it takes time. u just need to play with ur team more. the biggest tips i’ve learned were to stay calm and focused, if you track your enemy with your eyes and predict where they will be moving, it is a guaranteed headshot. you need to be confident in your shots like don’t think you’ll miss. But you can’t be overconfident to where you’ll miss. Accuracy is everything with hanzo because when headshot can take you out of the worst 1v1

​@@marcellob783 Thanks for the reply :) I've put so much time into aim practicing that it's kind of hard for me to stop thinking about aim and to just play. So lately i've been trying to instead focus mainly on working with my team and if i miss my shots then so be it. I feel like the more i "try" to hit my shots the more i miss anyway. I work really hard on improving as a player and im very analytical and self-critical, but i feel so confused about why i win certain games and lose others. I work on these things that should in theory make me win more games, but it doesn't seem to happen. I've played since the game came out but it's always on and off because i obsess for periods then get discouraged and stop for a while then come back to it. It's like i inevitably end up at a point where i've put so much effort in and i feel like i've improved but there is no reflection of it in my rank and no clear way to measure whether i've progressed, so i might as well just be imagining things, and then what tips me over to quit is usually the toxicity of players in competetive as they convince me that i'm hopeless trash.

If you go into the settings and go to hanzo specifically, and then down to where the key/button binds are for his actions you’ll see an option for Secondary Fire. Hanzo’s secondary fire is what cancels his arrow

lol if you need a full premade to climb then you don't deserve to be higher. What you're basically saying is that with a full coordinated group against a bunch of randoms who aren't as coordinated you'll finally win? That's not a healthy mindset.

Linear ramp, Im a masters player on console. Have been top 500 a few times too. Linear ramp is really helpful for hanzo and a sensitivity of 40. Don’t go higher than than if you want to be accurate. Aim smoothing can be around 30-50 only if you have linear ramp. If you prefer exponential then use aim assist strength on 100 but use the aim assist window strength on 70 and aim assist window size on 50. Hope this helps! Oh and make sure to purchase control freks (for longer analog sticks) they will change your life if you really want to get good at console.

​@@richardespinoza9989 I use a mouse and keyboard on console but I can't disable my acceleration because my mouse is emulating analog sticks from controllers since that's what my connectivity limits me to. not being able to turn off acceleration essentially means I can't make fast turns, but I can still flick, although it's inconsistent thanks to the acceleration. should I just turn off aim assist? you didn't mention aim assist at all for linear ramp, which I already use. so just curious.

@@trevorveillette8415 leave aim assist on 100 no matter what aiming style you use controllers need it the most. If you use a mouse then just turn everything off as its not needed. Also why are you using a mouse on console? Might as well go play on pc lol.

@@Htiy no not at all, its personal preference. I personally love linear ramp because the aiming style resembles games like COD or destiny so it just feels natural to me. You can play however you like. I would stay away from very fast sens when playing snipers as your shots will miss or you will over shoot. I say start your sens at 35 and work your way to 40. At least on console, you shouldn’t go higher than 40. I also highly recommend control freks as they make your controller analog longer which allows you to be way more accurate without feeling like you are cheating lol.

Maybe the games you were struggling in were already full of masters players. Idk tho, just a wild guess.

rank isnt your real reflection of ur ability, your mmr should be more accurate than your rank. Ranking is based initially on ur mmr then adjusted to where you are now based on only WIN AND LOSE which is largely affected by your matchup while mmr takes factor on all equations. My guess it would be based on your stats, postioning, char choice and so on.

i assume it has something to do with people trolling or targetting him just for being a streamer, but idk i dont see many other people with that problem. i think hes just in an elo where people are good enough to not get fully stomped but there are still a lot of people who dont care ab their rank

Happens in every game. The elo system isnt perfect.

The context was people got used to calling that particular character that name and your mods banned people simply for stating a reasonable reason why they still refer to the character as "McCree" and you flew off the handle calling people pieces of shit cause that's how they related to one particular character in the game.
