@@rachidow2125 Only 3 garbage mission chapters that have their quality removed, for next year players have to wait for the next set of 2 or 3 missions that have even more quality removed from it, the devs stated that starting next year it’ll take about 4 to 7 months for the next chapters to be release.

It will be interesting if the omnic skins on the heroes could refer to Null Sector creating omnic enforcers that could copy or match the heroes' abilities and skills similar to how Echo mimics her opponents and allies. It will be an interesting fight for the heroes to fight their omnic counterparts if used in future story campaigns. However, I believe it won't be the case for the Overwatch 2 story campaign coming out on August 10.

Idk if they’ll appear in invasion but we definitely know they’ll appear later from early trailers, there’s even an early scene that was shown at Blizzconline 2021 which shows Widow, Sombra, and a huge line of talon units lined up on Suravasa, which will probably make for a rlly cool mission.

@@ootachi Not the PVE experience we were promised which was the whole reason they added a 2 to Overwatch. This is just the same Anniversary Events we've had since Overwatch 1. The new PVE was supposed to be big, it was supposed to have a skill tree and allow you to customize your abilities, replay missions with your friends, and offer actual canon lore. It and Overwatch League got scrapped because Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kottick got greedy and mismanaged both.

My angle: Illari, a Support hero based on the sun using a double barrel gun to do both damage and healing Illari, (one letter off the League of Legends champ Illaoi,) a Support hero based on the sun (Leona from LoL) using a double barrel gun to do both damage and healing (which has its design 1:1 ripped from Senna from LoL)

It's quite indicative of the state of the game that there was an entire segment of the trailer dedicated to the battle pass, like when the Diablo 4 team did a Q&A and mentioned the shop or the battle pass 50 times in an hour. That's where the focus is these days.

I know what you mean, there was a point in time when I was a really big blizzard fan, I played so much overwatch and hearthstone. But since a couple years ago it just hasn't felt the same, which stinks because I still do enjoy the ip's just not what the company has done.

yeah, they just don't have the resources to put anything out really, devs don't have the staff/budget for that. And going back to 3-3.5 month style seasons is very dangerous if you don't have enough strong content and really interesting stuff to pull players in or improve the QoL of the game. This is actually not that bad, I agree. But honestly still less exciting than ow1 stuff. Probably more interesting because they actually are gonna add a lotta stuff, but it seems like to be mostly filler that nobody wants that much and they need to give us "something". (like workshop was truly exciting and useful and had a place. I hope Hero mastery is good enough to get beginners into the game faster so they don't have to spend a lot of time learning the ropes) I hope the new maps are way better than stupid Push maps that are absolutely horrible, including the arctic KOTH map that is worse than HLC and Paris.

Say what you want, I think the hero mastery challenges will be a boon for the game. There are so many people who ignore a lot of the mechanics of the game or just don't know the limits of the heroes they play. Having a training ground that highlights all the utility a hero brings in practical scenarios is way better than just a training dummy shooting range.
