I think it's dumb that not every hero is available. The missions look awesome but there's not a single hero I play. No orissa, no queen, no rammatra, AND NO HOG.

The cutscenes are cool. I feel sorry for all the artists, modellers, animators alike who clearly put their heart into what they do but cop the backlash from the community cause of their higher ups desicions

weird they replaced echo with brig in the rio mission and they didnt want to redo the cutscene so they just added dialogue of brig correcting rein lol

I think they just wanted every possible Playable Hero for that Missions, but because Lucio was Mandatory and there is a Hard Limit of 1 Support per team, Mercy and Brigitte are forced onto the Side-Lines, so they made Brigitte the Pilot so Echo could be Playable. Also, we didn't know anything about Echo when the Mission was first Released and it'd be weird if she wasn't there at all, so she was stuck as the Pilot.

The visual design team, cinematic team, artists and voice actors did a tremendous job. At the end of the day, Blizzard is Blizzard. The 15$ certainly raises some questions, but otherwise the missions are great. It's a shame there aren't more of them, and it's a shame that the over-the-top monetization system has buried the original idea of a PvE game in favor of short episodes like this. Eh, what a great game we would have gotten....

4 years in the making, ow1 was on life support 3 years with no content because they were working on this, they have this already made in 2019, there is a full playable demo of rio, the same format of the archives events from ow1 but now cost $15, and its only less than 2 hours of content, blizzard deserves the worst

Then more games in the future will be like this, basic games that cost to play. If they drop one more like this we legit pay for the entirety of ow1 when it was 60 dollars. AND FOR 60 DOLLARS WE GOT A ENTIRE GAME WITH SKINS THAT WERE OBTAINABLE. This is cash gouging. If they ever want to save the game, they better start delivering on something. Doesn’t have to be the detailed skill tree, but at least give us customization of abilities and a small skill tree, something is better than just missions

@@verguco6051 I agree with that and I want to see the executives go on live stream, and beg for us to forgive them. I don’t want to see them hiding behind the devs, if they begged for us to forgive them and delivered what was promised, it’s the step in the right direction as long as they don’t go against their promise. Long as they realized they screwed up and are actively trying to amend for it, they can slowly build the community’s trust and respect for them, but this is just me hoping and we know what the reality is

@@maatak2155 yes lol all of the epic skins, legendary skins, Mythic skin, emotes, banners, all of that and story missions for 15$ rather than them charging for each skin. Apex legends you basically have to pay over 100$ for a heirloom. Here you pay 15$ for missions, a whole battle pass, AND Mythic Skin they could easily charge us 50$ to 60$ for free..

To be respectful. The story missions are good and seem to be quite addicting. but the problem is that we now have to wait however long to just get one more piece of the story while only having access to the one and done story missions. Sure you could try to beat them on a higher difficulty but that is about it. I'm still kinda the train that they should just make a Netflix adaptation or something along those lines. The addicting aspect I mentioned early was from the cutscenes not the gameplay and I think the best way for blizzard to sell out at this point is to just make tv show I think it would pan over well of course still with that sour taste in our mouth but maybe just a little bit less then this, but the pve devs are being restricted the passion they are allowed to give to pve so I cannot blame them for the way it has turned out. I love overawatch but I have no further desire to play pve. I don't enjoy just playing extended archive missions for a small cutscene, the small cutscene is really enjoyable but does not pick up the slack that is pve.

I think Toronto is my favorite. Love the map and the scenery and colors, loved the part at the end with the snowstorm. I wished they were more omnics like Claire we had to find around the city and save. It would’ve made the story longer and more engaging.

Currently watching this. It’s looks boring. This isn’t what Jeff wanted. He wanted the missions to have a soul and have something challenging, something to worry about. From the 50mins of shit I watched. Legit just looks like point and shoot. We had point and shoot for free in ow1. Why would I pay for point and shoot 2 when there’s no incentive on playing it? If this shit had skill trees ok, some incentive.

I'm kinda worried for zen, sombra and widow are no good, especially if they were looking for somebody like zen, also when McCassidy said that jack (soldier 76) isn't coming back, that kinda made me feel upset and emotional, torb and sojourn denying winston's call also made me feel upset a bit, after all, I really liked the PVE, they did a great work.❤

Here's a weird question. When clicking the "Missions" option in the menu for the first time ever, isn't there a cutscene between it and sitting down at Winston's computer? When I clicked it for the first time, the game started playing some cutscene, but I accidentally skipped it, and I haven't been able to see it again. Does anyone have video of that one?

You can just go on data entries on the menu (the screen on the left of the huge screen in the middle) and go to mission entries and it should pop up the cutscenes for each mission

Looking at the gameplay, it does look fun and the content is amazing as it is! So let's ask ourselves what they could've done to earn our $15 worth if talent tree's out of the question, because for all its worth, a high amount of budget went into all the setpieces here for these 3 missions. I'm not trying to defend Activision Blizzard, I just want to give the devs who worked on this the credits they deserve for bringing this to life.

Honestly, i think overwatch could improve if only they put in real currency in de battlepass. That way, the BP would feel more rewarding and people dont have to dump (as much money in the game for a few skins. Imagine how great it would be if with the currency from the BP you could buy legendary skins from the shop or even buy the next BP. I think that would def uplift the burden and expenses this game has created and overall makes it more rewarding.

Do I think this is worth $15? Actually, for once... kinda. Considering the base game is free. But I still don't believe in paying for incremental content (or cosmetics etc.). Would have paid for a base game with free updates and missions like the original Overwatch. It does seem like a lot of work was put into this, especially seeing that they animated a huge amount of characters, including a bunch of characters we haven't seen animated before. And it does finally give us story context, both historical and current, which was long overdue. I didn't find the Underworld mission to be very exciting or replayable, and I don't see myself replaying it for anything other than completing some challenges for rewards. I could change my mind, but that's where it's at right now.

this game mode would of been so much better with that littl bit of replay value and the fact that they are now selling it as just teh archives eents with cutscenes is just sad because we waited 5 years for nothing then accept new decently written lore but then again the gameplay is just the same with out the replay ability of canging the moves of the heros those little thigns would of made it great but no they want to milk this game for every fans pennies

Watching this make me sad for what could have been a great game. Instead it’s just the same shit we had with the archives events. No progression, no variation, no customization. This game is a shell of its former glory days. Such a disappointment.

Imagine how awesome this could have been if Blizzard had actually released to us what they promised. It would have been like the exact opposite of what Epic Games did half a decade ago when they decided to make Fortnite a PVP game instead of the PVE coop game they promised to early adopters like myself. It wasn't popular enough, plus they still have pve/save the world. 2018 was a year that battle Royale was a popular genre, so epic games needed fortnite to be popular, without br, fortnite would be forgotten.

Gotta love how blizzard promised it would be "30-40 minutes of content per mission" and yet you have a complete video of each mission back to back showing they are, on average, 26 minutes long (and that include queue times). Blizz has lost all good will the community had for them, and they continue to lie because they think that will win it back...
