The reason why I love and hate Reinhardt: I hate it when he's very close-minded and stubborn. But I love it when he learns from those mistakes and actually makes the changes. Like seen in his "Honor and Glory" animation. Learns from the past and passes it on to the others so they don't make the mistakes he does.

​​@@Fallout4277 reaper's backstory is that he was the reason overwatch got shut down because during a blackwatch mission in Venice, instead of capturing a talon member alive reaper shot the guy in front of genji, cassidy and moira which lead to the world finding out about blackwatch which shouldn't have happened since blackwatch was overwatch's covert operations devision, meaning no one was supposed to find out about them, so when the whole world found out about blackwatch they all immediately turned against overwatch, also reaper was experimented on and now his atoms are constantly decaying and regenerating

She's not supposed to have feelings apparently because of Moira, but I think she does feel and hides it from Moira

Even as she is widow HAS emotions, she gets annoyed, she’s cocky, and she gets excited if she’s on a kill streak or nanoed. She just doesn’t seem to have legit any positive emotions, but she still does FEEL stuff. She even laughed at tracer cause she thought her reaction to widow killing the ominic leader was funny

@@cyrusstevenson880 You can express emotions and feel nothing. But yes, Widow does have a flawed change in her mentality. Though the examples you gave could just be game expression itself (i.e.: Killstreak and power up voicelines.) Widow laughing at Tracer didn't have to be a reaction, but also a way to break the hero by mocking them. Talon is ruthless, and Widow is the perfect little mix between the vigilantes and the terrorists.

When she first killed her husband, yes, she was aware but it was beyond her control at the time. The brainwashing Talon put her through made her Widowmaker. Amelie was gone. But it seems now Amelie is slowly returning, based on some of her voice lines and her return to her husband’s grave every Christmas. It’s only a matter of time until the brainwashing wears off.

She's also genetically toyed with and brainwashed, so I don't consider her the arbiter of her choices anymore than a sleeper agent like winter soldier.

@@arcurtis11 She physically has to be under the sleeper agent hypnosis 24/7 now otherwise she would abandon Talon(seeing as they forced her to kill her own husband and countless others) meaning that even in her hypnotized state she still recollects her life and the actions she takes while hypnotized. She has no right to be mad at Jack for not putting her husband's favorite flowers on his grave when Jack is paying respects to the person she knows she killed. Doing so makes her incredibly hypocritical. Her whole point was that Jack obviously doesn't know Gérard that well to properly pay respects to him, but she doesn't get to make that point when she was closer to him than anyone else and disrespected his life by ending it. She didn't have a choice but that doesn't excuse the fact that she still DID it

He is trying to help, he just doesn’t consider himself a hero anymore. He’s not telling them to stop helping people, he’s telling them to stop playing the hero.

Soldier is a complicated character. Have you ever considered WHY he says the things he does? He tells Reinhardt that he has accepted that the world doesn’t need heroes, yet he commits vigilantism. Actions speak louder than words. He doesn’t make it everyone else’s problems, if he did he wouldn’t be trying to do everything himself. You are vastly misunderstanding PTSD grandpa’s character.

@@justaguy1304 For what little he does to help, it just as well shows his flaws in this new mindset he has created that since he felt thrown away that he no longer is a hero. He is a soldier though, your typical Captain America that seeks validation for his actions. His valor is lost, so he is lost, and for that he seeks vengeance for who he thinks is responsible and that is something Ana talks to him about in another interaction, saying that he needs to stop his crusade.

I imagine Ana has plenty of regrets about the life she lived. she doesn't look back fondly on the missions and lives she had to take, or the fact that she was basically forced to fake her death and miss her daughter growing up.

Yup he's like a vigilante, fighting crime his own way and dodging the law.

He was the leader of overwatch before it fell and he became a vigilante like Batman trying to track down those who caused its fall such as reaper or moira
