The brothers have such a great story. They were born to a criminal clan, but Genji, the younger brother, went against the clan and Hanzo was tasked to kill him, they fought and while it was close Hanzo won. Hanzo swore to never use a sword again(which is why he uses just a bow) and left the clan. Genji was found by Mercy, healed and made into a cyborg to save him and served in Overwatch for a while, he had a huge identity crisis with being half robot but found an Omnic named Zenyatta who helped him find peace with himself.

mercy seems to be the cause of a lot of revivals, including Reyes becoming Reaper

chris koloski If I remember correctly she made some sort of new type of healing which made her the forefront of the field, which is why Overwatch picked her up. And notice everyone she revives is from Overwatch, Genji was told he'd only be healed if he joined Overwatch, Reaper was part of Overwatch, although something went wrong there.

Raymond Pagan It's not a new story, but it was done well, and I don't see how dragons are cliché, anymore then saying 'a cheetah is fast' would be, yes dragons are done to death, but that's because there a very important mythological symbol and bring forth powerful imagery.

The Sword you see in the trailer that Hanzo meditates in front of is his sword that he used to kill Genji the 1st time with, his Guilt is why he no longer uses it and takes up the Bow instead thereafter.

Fun fact. Hanzo did kill Genji and he was using a sword at the time. After that he never used a sword again. He is like Jax in LoL. He is way too OP with a normal weapon. Thats why Genji could defeat him. If Hanzo had a sword he would win again.
