So thanks to my Eurotrip, I completely missed out on almost the entirety of the Overwatch: Retribution event. Boo. But at least I got to play a little bit and now I get to close it out with this dub, kinda! I just wish there'd been... more time... for lootboxes... gasping death rattle

The only problem is that widowmaker specifically killed him and made sure he was dead, so unless he comes back from the dead literally it wouldn’t make any sense.

Well, if the rest of the world found out Gerard survived and Gabriel wrongfully killed the man "responsible", that would be a real shitstorm. So, naturally, the obvious solution was to make sure Gerard was dead to make the story legit and reasonable (to an extent). Good job, Gabe. You saved the day yet again.

Gerard coming back is actually believable if you take into consideration that the only other named human character that Widowmaker shot was Ana. He could legit be alive and well and just chilling wherever Liao is.
