@@bloodangel7731 with ults? yes thats on purpose. i just googled a random overwatch characters voice lines and sombra has 14 minutes of in-game voice lines. spider man has like 4 quotes.

On the devs reception to criticism its actually way better than it seems. Many games have the nda clause that rivals has. Overwatch 2 had the exact same one. The devs have been active in discord and I've been lucky enough to talk to them and they talked alot about how they've been loving the criticism and large changes are being looked at.

$20 for a skin is insane, yeah never busting that much money on a single cosmetic, now give me a season pass with several and sure we're good. Though I'm curious where you're getting that info from? Or are you just guessing, because didn't see any prices in the alpha.

I also thought the team synergies were a cool thing, but it makes me worry that they'll be heavy meta and people will feel forced to always take advantage of them. Like the Hela, Loki one for example. Two good characters separately, monsters together. If you got one on the team best grab the other. Haven't gotten my hands on it myself and I know there'll be plenty more with future characters, so I hope its just me worrying.

Right now, none of the synergies are good enough to be mandatory. AT BEST, maybe Magneto's is decent and it's because it empowers his kinda weak attacks to use his greatsword.

Great video, slight comment on your audio, it's very distracting to hear in-game voice chat and you speaking at the same, I would mute the audio of the background video whenever it is not the focus of the video.

The only thing that can/will kill Overwatch is Activision/Blizzard...but Marvel Rivals is a lot of fun. I've enjoyed the playtest alpha immensely and I'll be jumping in to check it out again on full release.

Game won’t last , one thing I notice you don’t feel the power behind the attacks and weapons , think of super smash how you feel the weight of smash attacks vs any other smash clone where is feels floaty

This is still a closed alpha with the full game expected to release early 2025 💀 it’s already extremely polished for an alpha and plays very well with incredibly well designed characters (gameplay wise). They have tons of time to fix it and it can really only get better from here on out. I have faith that this game is going to last.

This is a comment ive put in all of the questionaires theyve given alpha players, the only reason i know im doing damage is because I see the healthbar go down, and that i dont feel the impact/that it feels floaty

You know what’s crazy? Comparing Marvel Rivals to Overwatch when 1) you all don’t keep that same energy for Paladins or Valorent and 2) It’s only the *closed* Alpha… the game still has an open Alpha, as well as a closed and open Beta before it even comes out. If it’s this decently polished surely after 3 other phases is should “meet your expectations” but then again you all love to complain. Try making your own live service, PvP, first person shooter. 👍🏽🤭

The ability teaming is not a good idea, because solo queue has no team work. Remember point B anubis or hanamura, how fun it was?

It’s not Anubis or Hanamura though.. look at how you’re comparing it to the dead game mode in Overwatch.

@@bluefaygox23 point still stands. Coop mechanics in mostly solo queue game sucks. Try to coordonate on an asian server where no one speak the same language.
