I’m kinda surprised they didn’t go for the more obvious TF quotes like “One Shall Stand, One Shall Fall” or “Such Heroic Nonsense”, but I appreciate the deep cuts.

Bastion makes the iconic transformation sound when turning into a turret but it’s heavily masked by this voice filter he has.

As a huge Transformers fan who hasn’t played OW since before OW2, I am severely tempted by this.

The Optimus prime leap is actually a reference to the first transformers movie where he leaps into battle kills some decepticons and fights megatron just to get killed by him with a random blaster

My only problem is the price.

I wouldn’t say any of the voice lines are iconic quotes. Good to know they actually are quotes. But they definitely aren’t iconic ones. They are kinda more generic quotes that they picked so that even if you aren’t using a transformers skin they still make sense for the character. And as for Rein, a “Roll out” when charging with Optimus skin could have been neat. Or something cool when doing the ult

my highlight for this update was with Optimus rein where after I killed three or four people in quick succession one game he said “I’ll take you all on”. Don’t know if this is a past voice line for rein but it was sick for me nonetheless

Knight Prime Rein would've made me happy. I saw fan concepts of Jazz Lucio and Shockwave Sigma, they definitely could have done a lot more. They 100 % cut alot of corners. Bastion just looks bad, no radio voice lines and the beeps are fucking wierd. He sounds like a broken wind chime from Soundwave's balcony Arcee would've made more sense on Tracer. Blizzard giving you only 11 days to decide if you want to buy these skins is a real dick move especially for the price.

They rly messed up the ramattra skin where instead of fist it could have been the barrels of his cannon. I swear bastion was the only skin they got right

my only disappointments are: - no transform sfx when rein charges - why did they use the hammer when they could have used Optimus' axe? - Ram's primary could have been re-shaped to look like a blaster maybe? - illari doesn't blast Linkin Park at full volume when ulting

Something tells me that the collab was rushed or was wasted by some choices, even a Dev mentioned that 3 other skinds where scrapped (Pharah as Starscream, Lucio as Soundwave & Wrecking Ball as Unicron)

Only thing I'd add is truck noises to Rein's charge. If Conductor can do train noises, why can't alien truck man?

The only issues I have are how we didn’t get a Decepticon healer or damage, and the price, again. I mean, Echo and Lucio as Starscream and Soundwave respectively would have been perfect, and it would have balanced the set out! Also, not having Rein saying “Autobots Roll Out” at some point was a missed opportunity. But again, those prices! I bought them but I ain’t gonna be a repeat customer if these prices are kept up.

The jump is g1 movie reference, not BayMovie, BayMovie prime never does similar jump in any of the live action movies exept Bumblebee movie opening scene, and thats not even the same character And literally none of these lines are iconic in the slightest

I honestly think there was better options for skins, bastion should’ve been Megatron bc tank, widowmaker for arcee since she uses a sniper, not sure who bumblebee could be but I have a lot of other great ideas
