I really like this ngl. It shows not only one side but two perspectives. The person with anxiety and a friend of that person. Probably only real friend the other person has. The lyrics may be dumb but it shows that not everyone knows right off the bat how to calm someone down. Also at the end where he says “don’t cut me out” he’s probably having overwhelming thoughts himself about losing his only friend. Not only that his voice makes it ten times better because his voice is so calming.

It does sound amazing, but I don't think saying "Just don't get overwhelmed" is gonna help. It's like saying "Why do you have asthma? Just breathe." It feels like the song is from the perspective of someone who just doesn't understand how bad anxiety can actually be. Again, it does sound nice, but the meaning I'm seeing is honestly pretty stupid. Edit: Listening back again, it sounds like he thinks he can just fix everything himself, or that he's the only one who can help by just saying "Just don't think about it." However, I'm not sure that's the case, it's just my opinion.

@@kyupified2440 the original song she spells out how she knows she shouldn't feel this way but can't help it. His solution is to "just don't get overwhelmed" like dang thats super useful. He really should give up writing music and take his talents to psyciactrics.

I had these “friends” from 3rd grade to 6th grade and they would mentally bully me and because of them I have had suicidal thoughts and I have major trust issues, I normally play this song when I’m having a panic attack or I’m just stressed because the “so just don’t get overwhelmed” part helps me a lot. (Sorry if this was strange or something like that. I don’t have a lot of people to talk to) Edit: update! Thanks for all the kind comments and that it makes me feels like I’m loved. And also my ex friends have reached out to me and have apologized, but I’m not ready to be there friend again. And my cousin goes to my school and makes me feel like I’m not alone.

Your not alone, I have a mental issue and it causes panic attacks randomly. If I’m having one, I usually turn this song on to help calm me down.

Stay strong, it’ll be okay! I’m right here. Everything would be fine :] I had similar problems and I’ve been bullied since kindergarten! I’ve had a hard trip with losses and gains, but in the end everything would be fine! My friends now, they inspire me, even tho I’m still in 6th grade and you probably would laugh considering how young I am, but I still have similar problems still sometimes. That’s why I give some kids around 6 years old (like neighbors) or kids my age therapy so they don’t have to go through what I did or make it better so it doesn’t get worse! I mean I try to help, but sometimes when I do it turns out making it worse for me! Anyway! Stay strong we will get through this pandemic together! This goes to all of you >w
