Overwintering Lupines at the Johnny's Research Farm

8 ай бұрынVisit our Zone 5 overwintered tunnel planting of Lupines (both first-year flowering and perennial Lupine). Our overwintered Lupine planting performed very nicely and flowered about 3-4 weeks before our field plantings.

when was it planted in the tunnel though? or when were seeds started. I have never done lupine

These were planted out in mid-October here in Maine. You can start your lupine seeds about 4 to 8 weeks before your date for planting out. 🙂

I wonder if Johnny's seeds can be shipped to Mexico, my basil plants got the downy mildew 🥲
