This is far my MOST favorite movie. I wanted since I was a kid to make it (I watched "Sleeping Beauty" dozens of times only for Maleficent) but Disney beat me to it. Great job though. And Angelina is so good that if Walt Disney was still alive he would be very proud of this movie. Made over $750 million at the box office.

Stefan was guilty of hurting and betraying Maleficent by cutting her wings, his greed got his child Aurora to be cursed by Maleficent because he again offended her in public . Maleficent made her mistakes but she did learn something from them and eventually moved on. Stefan death was his own fault because at the end Maleficent did let him go for Aurora's sake only for that coward to attack her from behind.

OVIK!!! You have me a crying mess over here!! Wow there is SO MUCH I love about this!! Maleficent is actually my favourite Disney live-action adaptation. I love how the way it re-interprets the tale and even expands on the lore. I think it's one of the few films where the sequel actually benefits the overall world-building. And you've gone and reminded me just how much I enjoyed these films (and why I think I need to do a re-watch)! I think what really works for me here is the non-chronological order of events? A lot of other Maleficent videos tend to showcase events in chronological order and while there's nothing wrong with that, I like how you've decided to take things a different route. The mirroring of the two films is genius; even though Aurora and Maleficient undergo some tough trials and tribulations, at the end of the day, their relationship and love for one another only grows, and you've showcased that so well here. Anyways, the found family trope is the BEST and I'm so glad you chose to do a video about this incredible character because as always, you've done an excellent job :)

I noticed that as well. Was that intentional? And another thing. Flittle's blessing was that Aurora will always be happy in her life. And when Aurora told Maleficent about her decision to stay in the Moors one day before her 16th birthday, she said "I'll be happy here for the rest of my life". Might be a coincidence, but still funny.

I loved so much about both movies. But certain scenes stuck with the most. Two of the ones from the second movie is when Maleficent turns into a black phoenix and when she turns the evil queen into a old goat and the king says 'eh, leave her that way'

The one and only thing she ever had to remember, in ALL times of doubt or fear or pain and/or tragedy or trauma.... The one thing that can't be rewired or altered by persuasion of the mind.... The one thing you can't manipulate... L💖VE... To alter the beat of a heart, you have to first create one... And to alter hers, you're gonna have to find a way to change the individual beats that were created with true connection that matches hers, without having any created beats of their own... Ive never watched this. I have a hard time with movies . They are too long with saying too little . I like a GOOD series , where I can enthrall myself and live in the story . Not everyone can do it , but it is the epithemy of entertainment . I also avoid Disney like the plague . But I watched this clip and I have always found Angelina intriguing. I bet she is bossy on set :P In a good way . She has a vision and thats what she wants portrayed , come hell or the high waters . After watching this clip , I think I'll give it a try . I hope the rest is as good. Seems like an awful lot mashed into a movie length. Which is my point . I talked to Joseph Mollozzi recently and he told me for every one hour of tv they toss 100 HOURS got , on the floor , and we get to see a lot more in 16 hrs then we do 2

I love Maleficent. However, the second film isn't canon in my eyes. All the characters act dumber, and though it's visually amazing it doesn't seem like a continuation of the same world at all.
