My 1st time trying injections . There are many devices and it is confusing. What is a fixed needle or a non fixed needle? I like to use with my 8mm needle ultra thin syringes . But there is no info on what size can be compatible or even which device can we buy to use our own needles. Can someone please clarify?

Does this have the capability of shortening the needle? I have a diabetic dog and the needle is so long. Yesterday she jumped back into it and it went all the way in and really hurt. She is very thin and has very little to hold on to. I'm limited to the scruff. She uses U-40 syringes for Vetsulin.

Three Little Birds Art I set mine at just passed the (K) but not much more.I measure it with the yellow stick I have a Chiweenie . Hope this helps I’m new to this and my little dog would bite and snap at me so I was at my wits end . So far she’s been ok with it.

Did you get this? I have a chiweenie also and he doesn’t have much skin to work with. He is also on the vetsulin U-40. Wanted to see about making the needle not so long 😢

How powerful is the plunger? It says 10 seconds for medication to be administered, is there a chance it may take longer than this?

@@paulhancock yeah I just tried 10 months ago and it worked with an .5" needle, I'm pretty lean so no problem. The problem was that the oil was to viscous or sticky and sometimes the autoject wasn't strong enough to push it through. Thx for answering mate

@@dennis242 I literally just logged on to edit my comment to say exactly that! I bought one of these last week for subq test shots and it's useless for the reason you said. The spring just isn't powerful enough to shoot oil-based medication. Never mind, worth a try!

Im thinking of getting this to give my dog her insulin because it’s a horror show twice a day trying to give it to her regularly with a syringe she won’t stay still and freaks out

Yes, I've seen many youtube videos teaching how to inject for their pets. Its quite fun to see the dog getting their injection from the autoinjector :-)

I use Reli On 31 gauge, 6mm length needle 3/10 mm syringe to give 3 units. Can I use this product and how? I've had it over a year and would like to use it.

That’s why I picked this up. I use 1cc 1/2 inch 27 gage needle. That one inch needle was ridiculous. After blood testing there is no fall in my free test or test numbers.

@AmericaFreedom-kc2ns so with 1 inch was going too deep? 1/2 did the job? I use spark hormone therapies auto inject but sometimes don't want to decompress plunger myself. If a company could correct this device they would make a killing as big as TRT is becoming for men.

With so many brands of syringes on the market I feel the company should update their list of syringes or say whether or not it’s ok to use an XYZ brand as long as it has XYZ specifications.
