This the first time I've ever seen a "90's kids" thing where the 90's kids were both reminiscing about the good times but still genuinely excited for the future, most people from that era and afterwards are really bitter about having their dreams of a liveable earth and affordable housing ripped out from under them. This is the kind of positivity the world needs

I was born in the 90s, 91 to be exact, so granted I am bummed with how things are where it's difficult to find a home and having to live paycheck to paycheck, however, as much as I miss the 90s I am still hopeful for the future not just for my generation but for many more to come.

its funny because my fourth grade teacher played Owl City and he loved this song. He was my favorite teacher and he's retiring next year. I come back to this song all the time now. He's pretty much the reason i love owl city, ill honestly miss him a bunch edit 2021, if anyone still reads this, he DID retire and honestly I still miss him haha, but this song still takes me back no matter how many times I listen to it :D

I wasn't born in this age but I remember living through all this stuff and somehow by the grace of God I wound up understanding what most young people go through today. However, I'd have to say our generation. Now they have the most painful journey of trying to figure out what truth is mainly cuz they're not allowed to realize that truth is real. Kind of sad if you think about it

I was born midway through the 90's (January 1995) and i can relate to most of this, but not all of it. But from what I've been told by my older cousins and friends, and from what I've lived, I'd say 1985-2005 was the best time to be a kid. We had cool things like Nintendo and good saturday morning cartoons, but we also had safety and freedom to play outside with our family or friends. This song definitely hit my nostalgic nerve.

I keep coming back to this wonderful song trying to reminisce my childhood days... I am present during the time VHS is still a thing, and I witnessed how it transitioned into CDs and later DVDs... The childhood memories of playing in indoor play places like McDonald's... The fun of riding stuffs in arcades, rushing back home to catch up on my favorite shows after school... And now I am a miserable person who have nothing in his life, I wonder where time did go. I want to experience it all over again. Redo everything that led me being this way because I'm in a mess that I can't escape anymore.

When I went to see Owl City in October 2015, I made a Tshirt that was inspired by this song. I added all the things he mentions on the back of my shirt, and while I was waiting in line to get inside the venue, the base player Rob came up to me because he loved my shirt :'D it was unbelievable.

born right at the end of the 90's (99) grew up in the early 2000's. They were beautiful times filled with such amazing carefree child-like wonder. this song made me smile because thinking back on my childhood is so sweet but it made me cry because everything they said there reminded me of when things were good. my family was a family and my grandfather was still around. my grandfather. when they mentioned spaghetti-os and etch-a-scetch I was back at my child self's favorite place to be. I am only 17 and thinking back on this makes me feel like i am 20 years older. funny how hardship and pain age you. gosh i didn't mean to bore you with this but this song spoke to a part of me that has been hiding for a long time.
