I really like Owlman because, like Joker, he's a nihilist - which makes for good villainy. Especially against Bats who holds that all life, even the lives of his enemies, should be protected. Woot plot :D

See, that's the thing I don't get about Crisis on Two Earths. By the logic of the movie, shouldn't there be an Earth where Owlman successfully destroys Earth Prime?

I always thought Owlman's silver age costume looked pretty silly, but he was really the most intimidating member of the Earth-3 villains. He found a way to arrange things to that whether they won or lost they still won and that's a pretty good accomplishment.

Interesting Arkham Wednesday lore video Owlman. Man, Owl is crazier than I thought.

This is the owlman story i remember: The night the wayne's were murdered we see a young Thomas Wayne Jr on his knees looking at the dead body of his mother, his father and his brother Bruce Wayne. Thomas saw the killer it was a corrupt cop Harvey Bullock. Thomas traveled the world he trained to become peak human physical condition. He was going to be a hero and fight the corruption in gotham. Instead of a bat flying into his window he got scratched by an Owl's talons that's how he knew what he needed to become. The first person he tracked down on his first night as Owlman was Harvey Bullock. Owlman dangled him off of a rooftop he wasn't going to kill him. He asked Harvey why he did it. Harvey said that he had too. The Wayne's killed Gordon's son to gain more power the Wayne's were more corrupt than anyone. This is when Owlman's world crumbled he fought against corruption bc he tought the corruption in Gotham took his parents lives. Innocent lives but realizing his parents were corrupt he finnaly realizes something else it doesn't matter. Nothing matter's. That's what he told Bullock before dropping him off of the skyscraper killing the officer. He took over gotham from the shadows with an army of talons he killed anyone who stood in his way no matter who they were hero or villain it didn't matter. He helped the crime syndicate beat the legion of justice and stop starro's invasion he kept his victims bodies as trophies because NOTHING MATTERED. (i just talked about my fav owlman origin and now i'm going to talk about the owlman from crisis across 2 earths.) He realized that humanity is nothing more than a cancer they are all corrupt. There is no good they were never good because they were human. Humanity ruined the planet allowed so many deaths. And after realizing that there were multiple earths he realized none of his choices mattered that's why he needed to make the ultimate choice the one true choice by wiping out every earth by wiping out humanity. Nothing mattered except the final choice. As batman and Owlman fought. Owlman told Batman they weren't so diffrent he told Batman that humanity is nothing more than a cancer that needed to be erased. Owlman's true goal was death and agony. He found out long ago that humanity was less than nothing. So he wanted nothing. Batman believed in the value of human life he believed that no matter how bad anyone was they deserved a second chance that's why he never killed. He had the willpower to try and give everyone a second chance no matter how bad they were. Bc he knows human life has value. Owlman thinks the exact oppisite. And then Batman wins as he ties Owlman to the earth destroying bomb Batman says his final sentence "There is a diffrence between you and me. We both looked into the abyss. But when it looked back at us, you blinked." And then Batman teleports Owlman to a diffrent earth a diffrent planet. While Batman goes back home. Owlman is still able to stop the bomb and save himself. But he doesn't do it. He smiles and then says "it doesn't matter." and then he blows up. Owlman is the true dark reflection of Batman his goals his believes are the exact oppisite. He is a true villain a true evil batman better than the batman who laughs. Better than Joker better than Prometheus better than every oppisite or evil batman you can think off. Because owlman's believes are truly the oppisite of Batman's. Batman believes in second chances and the value of human life. While Owlman sees Humanity as a disease and believes nothing they do matters.

Owlman also has the power of super-hypnosis. This ability was displayed during his first appearance.

Something that always bothered me when watching the movie was that if there are infinite earths where every decision is made, then there should be infinite Owlmen that either convinces Batman to join his cause, they never confront each other, and/or defeats Batman outright, thus blowing up the one and only Earth Prime. That being the case, no matter what Earth Prime is destroyed and everything ceases to exist.

If you listen in arkham origins and the ace chemicals trailer for arkham knight, the two voice actors sound extremely alike I think he is the knight just listen very carefully and hopefully kwing sees this and takes it into consideration to try and show why I could be wrong or right.....

Crisis on Two Earths was a great movie. DC really needs to put their animated stuff out there further and abandon the trash they’ve had in theaters. Suicide squad is the PERFECT example. The Will Smith movie was so stupid but holy crap the animated movie had me watching it so many times.
