I love the Dark Mirror! I pull one card every month to work on a specific shadow aspect, and it is always so spot on and so direct. Punches you in the face type of deck, but I love it. I don’t have any other deck in my collection that would be so perfect for shadow work.

Oh my gosh that Froud deck was a blast from the past for me. I worked with it really intensely many years ago when it was newly published & it blew my mind with its riddles regularly. And yes it ran away from me too forcing me to repurchase. I never took it out of my home 🏠 ever 🤷🏻‍♀️ After the second time of it running away I gave up 😂 Seeing it again on your video really pulled on my heart strings.....I do miss it but I’m pretty sure in my Crone years I do not have the patience for it anymore 😜 Magickal Botanical is a deck I’m only using to communicate with Cernunnos at the moment. I only use it during ritual space with Him. I am a witch & I do grow all my own ritual & spell 🌿 herbs & plants. I also grow my own baneful plant allies. I honestly spend most of my time from Imbolc to Samhain at my allotment with my beloved plant allies & their spirits. The Winter months are my muttering over my cauldron 🧙‍♀️ hermit indoors shadow work intensive times with lots of magical oils & loose incense creation using my dried harvests from the being outside time in my seasonal cycles. I originally bought it to add to my work with Hecate but Cernunnos has claimed it first. He isn’t usually “loud” as He has The Morrigan & Hecate to contend with (ha ha ha) but He was really loud about this deck being for Him

I adore my Faeries Oracle deck! Use it with my Labyrinth Tarot

I absolutely share your feelings about having a deck collection, each and every one of the decks I work together with all bring something unique, special and different to each reading. They absolutely have personalities and I feel even if it were the exact same deck, that each one would bring their own wisdom and personality to the table. I have decks that I don’t use for everyday use, they let me know that while they’re there for me, to basically use them for a specific purpose and/or situation. It’s so comforting to be able to have this community where others understand and devoid of ignorance. I sometimes even ask my decks how they’re doing, flip a card or few, because I feel so connected and do feel we’ve built a relationship with one another. Can’t really tell many people who are not on the same path as I am that I actually communicate with my cards, lol. Also, your necklace is everything. Isis would agree!

Just ordered the Hayworth Tarot. It was exactly what I was looking for. Also, loved that you brought out Faerytales Oracle. That deck is insanely powerful in getting into the murky deep rooted issues of relationships. It helped me so much. As always, love your lists and thank you!

i have a small collection of decks, a several of which i've developed relationships with through my practice. however i recently found a copy of the Faeries' Oracle at the goodwill and immediately picked it up. it felt rather serendipitous to find an oracle deck in this way. it seems almost unused, but after reading the beginning of the book i've hesitated to begin reading with it. i will, i can hardly ignore the invitation, but i've wanted to prepare before i begin consulting a deck with such an interesting proposition, and such a mischievous reputation. anyway, that's how i found your channel!

Loved this and added a few to my list. Decks I approach with caution and special reverence: Definitely Froud's Faerie Oracle. Any god or goddess deck, especially the Dark Goddess Tarot. LXXXI Quareia - The Magician's Deck. Cilla Conway's decks. The Mary-el Tarot. Tarot of the Crone. Spirit Keeper's Tarot (all three versions). The Norse Tarot, because of an ancestral tie. Tarot of the Sidhe. The Alleyman's Tarot. Oracle of Black Enchantment. Mildred Payne's Pocket Oracle. Illuminated Earth Oracle. Twin Flame Journey Shadows Oracle (I don't do twin flames but this is a strong shadow deck). And probably others I'm forgetting. Great topic.

Loved this review! Thank you for shedding some light on Magickal Herbal Botanical Oracle. It's definitely an unrated but incredibly powerful deck. Dark Mirror is the only deck that I didn't get along with, but I'm tempted to give it another go. The deck I approach with caution is Quareia.

Interesting list...I might have guessed a couple of these decks...they all seem to be alternate reality types. My lived experience with the fae is definitely trixy, and respectful. You don't come over without calling first, and they might say nope. Those last two decks (sorry I can't remember the names, but angels and daemons) I recognized the illustrations and I don't have the decks. I do have Fallen Angels (love) and I had another demon deck (hated the cards loved the book) and Travis McHenry did the Oracle of Heaven and Hell which has an angel and a demon on each card. Love it, approach with caution for sure!

I don’t know how you trim your own bangs! It looks precise every time and if I knew, I’d be saving myself lots of money. I have the same thing about feeling like Noel art is taken and in general that deck feels too much love and light. Dark mirror oracle is not easy to work with. I feel one needs to be in a headspace to hear it.

Love this video on those special decks! I own some of these decks and have to say very accurate. I own the fea oracle one. Bought it yrs ago. Not had any issues with it. I do not pull from it often. Yep trickster energy big time. I felt a cold draft as you were discussing this deck lol

I have the Fairy Oracle and it does have a different vibe. I feel a little “off” or confused when I draw from it. The Penzack deck is on my to get list. I love the Egyptian necklace btw!

The divine circus so missed the mark for me - I wanted the art to be like old school freakshow posters and have Carnival flair, instead it was like a puppet theatre of pretty dolls 😳

Well, I’ve ordered the Fairy Oracle (with a few other decks)…and the delivery has already been delayed due to ‘packing’??? Now I suspect the Fairies have gone walk-about at the couriers! 😂 Thank you for this ‘cautionary’ video - good to know. At the moment I am finding my Wisdom of the Oracle deck a bit harsh (the guidebook that is), so I think shadow work and brutally honest decks are a no-no for a while. 🖤

Danielle releases Ocean Dreams Oracle and then a year later Rebecca and Katie release Healing Waters Oracle. lol I mean how obvious can you get? It's so disrespectful and I'm surprised it hasn't become a legal matter at this point... :( Anyhow, loved this video! So great to see god & titans. I’m not a fan of the art work but I have the sirens and honestly the guide book with the deck is incredible for my knowledge. I’ve never been attracted to Rebecca’s decks. Idk …..I’ve never seen that deck of Lucy’s. Thanks for showing. I’ve given all her decks away for them to be used by others. The dark shadow deck was incredible for me so I’m definitely going to look at that deck you recommend. Another great video thank you
