I just ordered one, how long did it take for you to get it?

Only time I had to change my balder s to fit any gun is the hellcat bc obviously it’s a little bit slimmer and smaller then what I’m used to putting it on like glocks and xds but if u take out the screws of the black plate in the middle and put the screws back in it fits perfectly it fit before but it’s slanted down in the front a little but that makes it fit flush

I just got the Baldr S Blue and I really love this thing too. It’s a very solid little laser/light combo that holds zero shooting or even when I take it off and on again. Glad I didn’t spend 3Xs more for a Steamlight

The Baldr series lights are small and they have bright lights but they do not have a separate pressure switch. These laser/light combos have tail switches you press down to activate the light or laser.

The baldr pro r probably would work great, 1350 lumens an has a green laser too.

Both the lights fit the same way on the guns I tried them on. I did not see any difference in the height of the locking carriage. It comes with the Glock rail adapter mounted on the light. The Glock rail has slightly smaller grooves so it could be a little loose on the standard 1913 rail. Once I changed the adapter, I did not have any trouble getting the carriage to lock very securely on the rail.

@@DoubleEagleGunworks that's where I'm confused too. Because this gun is claimed to be Picatinny yet the 1913 piece is too big to fit my XD.40 sub. Is it possible with all the branding exchanges with Springfield Armory that my unit (made in Croatia) does not have a standard Picatinny rail?

@ it’s possible the rail may not be milled correctly if the 1913 adapter is too big for the rail. Do you have another gun with a Pic rail to check it on? If so, try it on that gun and then you will know whether it is your gun rail or the light that is not made correctly.

It is the compact version. It is an older one chambered in .357Sig.

I don’t know of any holsters that are specifically made to use with any of the Olight lights. There may be some out there, but I haven’t found any. You would have to find one that is designed for a light of similar size.

Amazon has many that fit the mini or the S. I bought 1 and it fits good it has a clip for concealed carry $20.00. They may say they won't fit the S only the mini but there isn't that great of a size difference.

Wouldn’t any flashlight have the same problem? If the battery dies, the flashlight dies. I am not sure how that is specific to this light.

@@DoubleEagleGunworks Sergio's statement is missing context but I imagine he was attempting to articulate one of two things: He probably means that once the charge cycle ends the weapon light is useless as it needs about a 90-minute charge time and a charging supply before it's operable again. Therein lies "the problem". Conversely, the vast majority of handgun lights take just a few seconds to install new battery(s) and they're operable again. Either the aforementioned or he's talking about the life cycle of the non-replaceable Built-In 380mAh Li-Poly Battery Pack. Li-Poly rechargeables usually have a lifespan of somewhere between 300 and 500 charge cycles (optimistic) before the battery, or in this case, the BALDR S or Mini will have to be replaced. Along with the life-cycle problem, there is inherent degradation of power storage capacity over the course of the Li-Poly life cycle. Both interpretations of his statement I believe do establish that all flashlights wouldn't have the same issues and are specific to non-replaceable built-in battery-powered handgun lights. That is in comparison to the vast majority of handgun lights currently being marketed. That all being said, I don't think either interpretation is a problem, but rather just aspects of the product(s) to be considered. Olight handgun lights during flash sales are an exceptional value. I own a few and over the last two years, they have been reliable lights. Thank you for the review, it was helpful in my choice of which one to purchase (BALDR S).
