I had soy sauce on my all white converse that spilled onto it from May. It’s coming off today!! Thanks So much! This video was simple and to the point!

easiest demo ive seen for this. no mixing of two things and brushing vigorously beforehand. Just soak over night in oxy, rinse, brush a few times and hang.

Great video! I've tried baking soda and toothpaste separately and nothing. Looking forward to seeing my white sneakers again

You're a funny ass guy. Great video brother.

Nice. I use 70% alcohol and a few cotton balls to clean around th shoe first so all the dirt comes off. Haven't soaked them in Oxi yet though. Thanks for the vid!

Do not use this if you have lazer labels like nike, new balance etc shoes. It will dissolve the lazer print so if you're going to resell your shoes, this could cause you problems

Pro tip! Thank you!!

I'm not aware of these laser labels, where are they located exactly? Also would the color fade at all with this method?
@philipjaramillo42792 жыл бұрын
Overnight this may happen, but I let mine soak for 2 hours and the shoes were fine.

I tried this on my converses today and the metal eyelets/lace holes lost its shine. Any idea how to fix this?

Does it remove stains that have been there for a few years? I wore a brand new pair of all white converse in the mud and rain and never wore them again and there in great shape minus the stains.. just wondering if it's gonna do it
@MillennialBroАй бұрын
Wouldn’t hurt to try, especially if they are just sitting around in the dark otherwise! I doubt they’d get worse!

So how do you clean the insoles since they can smell pretty swampy?
@MillennialBro11 күн бұрын
The oxi clean lifts that right out! I actually just cleaned a pair of Brooks the other day and noticed a major difference and that wasn’t even the reason I was cleaning them. Oxi clean is designed to get rid of protein stains like sweat.

After doing the OxiClean you could have rinsed in the washing machine and put them in the dryer.

Can you do colors
@MillennialBro3 жыл бұрын
I believe you could but that's a question for the Oxiclean product for a true answer. I'm pretty sure it's designed to handle colors as well.
@mwj90802 жыл бұрын
Yes Oxiclean is safe for colors since it's not a Chlorine product

Other videos I've watched have said no to leaving in the sun to dry
@MillennialBro Жыл бұрын
Those videos were cowards, Keelee 🤣. Was there a reason not too? My understanding is that the UV makes an additional difference. I'm sure it's not necessary though. It happened to be very hot the day I did this so I just went for it 🤷
@keelee-johns Жыл бұрын
@@MillennialBro Haha! They were cowards! I read a few articles and all of them say that leaving them in the sun is perfectly fine. And you are right, the UV rays can help bleach the canvas even more. I think because heat in a dryer or from a hairdryer can warp the rubber soles and shrink the canvas, people were equating that with heat from the sun, but apparently the UV rays don't affect them the same way.

Hope you sprayed those with isopropyl when you were done... letting em just air dry without disinfecting them is gonna cause a lot of bacteria to grow in there and they're gonna reek
@MillennialBro Жыл бұрын
Happy to report that no bacteria survived this process and there were zero bad smells. Maybe if I had thrown them in the closet to dry...
