Happy Monday, all! Today I experimented with Distress Oxide ink blending over black cardstock. Because Oxide inks are more opaque, they work great on dark surfaces!

The way that cloud stencil looks with the inking makes me think of silhouetted tree lines. The warmer tones reminded me of maybe sunshine behind the trees, and the blue made me think of the Great Smokey Mountains. I love how this card came out. Really different look for a birthday card, but I think it would make a great masculine one. Thank you for sharing, & have an awesome day! :)

One of the most surprising uses I've found for my die cutting machine is wrapping a watercolour piece in typing paper and running it through the machine without any dies. It flattens out any warping quite nicely!

Your card is beautiful ! Fantastic idea for a masculine card (it’s so difficult to « think masculine » when making cards 😉🤣!). I think this stencil is awesome : finally a clouds’ stencil long enough for a landscape card !!!! 👏👏👏

That sentiment once added changed the clouds to camouflage. Maybe it’s the word “rock” that helps change it.... anyway, this is FABULOUS

If I get the A7 dies would I really need the A2 dies? Is there a 4.25 “ x 5.5” die or a 4” x 5.25”in the A7 set? Thx so much cause I have no one else to ask❤️

They are different dimensions (or rather, ratios). The smaller A7 layer dies won't fit perfectly on an A2 card. Since I make both A2 and A7 cards, it made sense for me to have both. However, if you only make A2 cards, it might be more economical to only buy the A2 layers dies.
