please... i always talk bad about Crossland SOUND, but no one can out perform them on the field, dont let me find footage of the PG Showcase 2001 where people was sooooo happy that OHHS left the field, and cheered "Alll C-LAND" while OHHS was gettin of the field and CHS was lining up.

Marching band can do wonders for a school. I dont see yall attending the Rose Bowl Parade and Macy's parade, Cherry blossoms presidential inaugral parades like Ballou has done Ballou Rosebowl and Macys thanksgiving parade bound 2009. And ballou place as high as 2nd place OVERALL at Nationals... whats the highest place yall gotten?

Correction... OHHS placed 1st overall in your DIVISION!!! (1st BKSMB, 2nd Highland springs, 3rd Carver, 4th Henrico final places) HS Ballou won 2nd Overall at FINALS 2006!!!

i was, but i was sum cut at dat tym, my range was small, u can hear my high Eb and F was sharp as a mug, but i was pumpin lol, on tuba

and they practically didnt have a marching program for almost 2 years

I'm not throwing shade. I'm just stating the facts. I mean we're not the MOST entertaining, but we do give some form of entertainment. What crossland needs to realize is that in marching band, it doesn't matter HOW entertaining you are, if you lack sound and musicality then you might as well just become a dance troupe and get your ass off the field. We definitely don't need to worry about our Marching Band program, that much, I know.

Crossland just got a new Director, alli know they will ALWAYS be more entertaining than OHHS..

like i said its called Critiquing, where do u see where i say "Yall Suck" or "Yall lame".. Honestly, i cant stand OHHS, but i gave compliments on these videos.

u can say the same for OHHS with 10 year old shows..still trying to claim the title of best musicall marching band in the DC area.. Ballou today will run clinics on yall and they dont have concert/symphonic bands

and yes it puts your school on the map more when you have a successful marching band program, gets you invited to exclusive parades thats hard for us "Blk high school band programs" and it pays off at Competitions. you cant speak, your marching band program isnt renowned. yall dont go to Competitions or do parades of high caliber.
