If you get 4 beeps that means high pressure. what is needed to fix that problem? Also what if no air flows out and the tubing is new and no kinks what does that entail? Thanks

I bought 2 of these 8 years ago....however there are 2 filters that need periodic cleaning....I did not know this until viewing another KZfaq video..the first set was coated with black powdery dust..they are drying now ...cleaning them should be addressed ..

Hello! My Devilbiss has 1700hrs on it, brand new. My noise meter says 80 db. That's way too high, no? Also, I removed the back cover and touched the motor. It was really hot, too hot to touch. Is this normal? Plus, what parts should I order ahead of time to avoid downtime? Thanks Calgary, Canada

First remove the tubing and/or humidifier bottle from the concentrator to make sure its not the tubing or humidifier restricting the flow.

A solid alarm could mean, no power. Start by making sure there is power to the outlet and the machine is running. Remove all tubing and/or humidifier bottles. Make sure the desired flow is registering in the window. Also, good to have the oxygen content measured by a oxygen supplier to make sure the oxygen level is therapeutic.

Typically how many hours do you get from one of these units? I have the airsep elite 6lpm with dual flow meters. I've had this for about 12 years but I only use as needed so total hours are only 2500. However my oci indicates low oxygen at 5 lpm or above. I'm wondering is the sieve beds can need repoured just from age even without much usage.

+nerdyorganist Hello, sorry for the late response. The site is still under construction. I believe you are asking about how many hours does a unit typically last. I have seen thousands of hours on stationary oxygen concentrators. As long as the Oxygen content is greater than 90 percent, and the 02 flow is working. Some units have built in oxygen concentrator indicators that alarm the user when the oxgyen content drops below 85% more or less depending on the MFG. thanks for your comment

+nerdyorganist Yes, the higher the liter flow, the lower the 02 content. So I would have it analyzed at our presricribed liter flow. However, the OCI should turn off after 5 to 15 minutes at all liter flow. Have your DME or local biomedical company take a look.

You need someone to analzye the content of oxygen coming out of the concentrator to make sure its therapeutic.

Need a service center. Just because a unit runs doesn't mean it putting oxygen purity % >90% A home 02 analyzer prob would uncover the 02 % is low. Beeping and alarms are to protect patients, and that's a good thing. We hate them too, but they happen for a reason.

@@Oxygenguys thank you. From what i read it may be compressor, which i may be able to free up obstruction from and fix. But if that fails, we're gonna have to do something. We are very poor.
