✨Oxygen gets transported in blood in different ways, dissolved or bound to hemoglobin. In this video, I talk about the oxygen-hemoglobin dissociation curve, with the changes in affinity that happen between the two that can either shift the curve to the left or the right. I hope it helps!☀️
🌟In this video, we answer these questions and look at:
0:00 - Intro
0:13 - Oxygen Transport (Dissolved Oxygen)
1:30 - Binding of Oxygen to Hemoglobin
2:14 - Oxygen Dissociation Curve
3:11 - Myoglobin
3:25 - p50
3:55 - Oxygen Dissociation Curve in Lungs vs Tissues
5:31- Shift of the curve to the right
7:52 - Shift of the curve to the left

If lactic acid is produced to shift the curve rightward so to release more O2, then shouldn't the exercising muscle be using that O2? But we know that exercising muscle opts for glycolysis chielfy... Enlighten me, please!
