Bro Jorge’s storage container being strapped to the side of the rocket got me so good. Also the day jingle playing was so genius as we all instantly knew that a day had passed. This is now one of my all time favorite ONI animations.

There's a number of studios out there that pump out DLC's for their benefit and nobody else, but Klei is one of the ONLY studios I know of that always manage to amaze me (and everyone else) and bring us cool content with substance, creativity and variety, as well as minimal bugs too since they actually refine their work (which seems scarce nowadays). Thank you guys for putting in the effort to make your games as enjoyable as possible :D

I have read before that the voices of the duplicants are made by someone playing an instrument they don't know to play but the thing is that give it a few years and that person will eventually learn to play the instrument properly, unless it's more like drawing straws, and the short straw records the duplicant voice lines lol.

When they first started it is true that they didn't know how to properly play the theremin and just experimented with various sounds, and there were some really fun early streams with the dev team where they would try to play it live on stream and come up with new sounds. By now though there's no doubt that they know exactly what they're doing with it. The intent was to use something science inspired as the vocals in contrast to the classical instruments used in Don't Starve and the theremin proved to be incredibly versatile for this!

I have forgot the count how many dupes and colonies I have sacrificed on restarts after hours of gameplay. Start, mid, end and restart. This is just the course of action you have to take with ONI.

If you are hopping on this train, here's a dlc request/ suggestion: The "Doomsday" DLC. Basically you spawn in on a random astroid which will get destroyed in 60 cycles or so. Insteed of spawning with the usual printer you insteed spawn in on a massive rocket. Basically, astroids spawn and deplete, space is bigger, and you have to sustain your rocket to survive.
