Crack theory: so in ONI, we know that all naturally born humans are gone and dead, right (except maybe Jorge as the one and only exception)? The dupes are the last remnant of humanity left. What if the shadows or who/whatever from DST ended up foreseeing this? Seeing as they seem to like humans' nightmares and insanity, what if they grabbed a few seemingly random humans (or in some cases, like Willow's, specially selected) as their own twisted form of agriculture? What about Wagstaff? Simple: in DST's time, humans aren't dead yet. ONI takes place waaaaaaaaaay later. Maybe that temporal rift that you go to at the end of ONI allows time travel? Idk, I haven't gotten that far in that game yet. But there's a lot of stuff in the logs you can find in ONI that indicates time travel, so I think it kinda fits. Maybe both games are gearing up for a crossover event sometime in the future.

I don't actually recall what year I got it, but it was back when making 50 cycles was a major accomplishment....before oil, disease, rockets, farming, ranching, O2 production and everything else. So very much has been added since then. I reviewed it with 1000 hours in back in 2018 though, so we likely got it around the same time. New players have no idea what 'Hard Mode' really is!!!!!!🤣😂🤣😂 4700.9 hours as of today. 😁

I got it for years and always come back once in a while. No other game comes close. Very special game.

@@youngfilmmaker9622 It's a company i think. the one who made the dupes, the fancy white and purple tech, the creatures, and stuff. also the ones who fucked up everything, presumably from trying to pull infinite free energy from time manipulation, which is also where neutronium comes from if i recall.

Their duplicants so you dont know. Heck my bubbles is a mechanical engineer and my other one is an astronomer But my other one is just griller who loves rocks 😆😅

​@@bluetube767 They are the same though. They are a duplicate of the same person. And if you've seen the previous episodes, you also might've noticed that most, if not all dupes always do the same jobs and have the same personality (Ari is always energetic, never understands things and always likes hatches, Stinky is always a a messy slowpoke, Meep is always lazy and never pays attention and Mae always seems to be courageous etc). Also in the shorts they do seem to always do the same jobs, like Liam is always a researcher and Bahni is the one doing automation. Bubbles has only had one major role in these shorts in which she was a nurse and she seemed to be very smart because she "cured" Abe from something she'd never experienced before (the dream thing). One other interesting thing is that the "joy response" of the dupes in these shorts are also the exact as in the game. In the game Ari is a sticker bomber and in the shorts she has been seen doing so. Also Abe is a balloon artist and at the end of the short "Sweet dreams" he also starts walking around with balloons. So yeah...pretty sure you can know xD

@@sjonnoh personality wise yes. But you can imagine what will happen if they learn rocket science Ex: if the baby grows up and learn rocket science when they grow up would they still act like that? Lets take the same baby and not teach them anything at all till 18, Would they act like that? Lets say both love rocks. How would the 2 act? (note: the other person is a rocket scientist and the other is a unemployed middle aged women.)

Some people confuses Banhi (brown hair and cyan clothes) with Bubbles (purple hair and dark blue clothes)

you can find some logs that explain bubbles is kind of a dummy, her and banhi have some history because bubbles inhaled some fungal spores at gravitas and made a huge snot bubble on the director and banhi told everyone, bubbles isn't her real name, it's a nickname by banhi.

Back then, I was aiming for 100 Cycles without losing a single duplicant. It took multiple attempts to get it right...but eventually I did it. And as a final test of sustainment, I took my hand off the mouse and keyboard for a number of cycles after that - I forget how many, but somewhere between 3 and 10 - to see if they could hold without any casualties. The first time I made it to that milestone, they didn't. The second time, they did. And I felt so accomplished in that moment.
