A message from your Government: When a woman is being attacked, raped or murdered do not try to prevent such violent acts by physically touching the offender. Regardless of whether the victim is a young woman , is pregnant, blind, a kindergarten teacher, a nurse or someones child, please wait until someone who is legally allowed to prevent such anti-social behaviour to arrive ( a parking inspector will not do). You may however ask the offender to stop. However, If an offender is high on drugs, drunk or in a psychotic state they may not obey your command. Therefore you may enforce your will by shouting in a firm voice "No, Bad Dog!!" or "Get out of it ya Mutt!". If the offender does not desist from their course of action please wait until help arrives. Whilst waiting for help to arrive please make sure the crime area is free from all obstructions so as to provide a safe working environment for our officers. Thank you for your co-operation. The Government

I support him no matter what. He made a mistake of protecting some else. In my head that sentence don't make any sense. He's an amazing dude that is down to earth and one of great humbleness and humility. Why would you make him say sorry to someone who was abusing a woman. He stood up for that woman and that's the whole base of this story. He didn't deserve to go to jail. He didn't deserve the hate, and he definitely didn't deserve to be publicly shamed the way he was. The guy had his jaw broken, well boohoo. Now I would understand if he punched the dude so hard that he ended up in a coma. But he had a broken jaw, what did the girl get? Beaten, so what was her abusers sentence. Well he got to milk the title of I'm the victim and now I can't work to put food on the table for my starving kids, (oh and it's totally my fault). It's racism at its finest. Plain and simple. He shouldn't have to live in the shadow of his so called mistake. The fact that they can over look the girls attacker, but jail Rongo for protecting her says alot about the legal system there. He's not a thug, he's not a monster, he's not a violent person. He's someone's dad, he's someone's partner, he's a brother, a cousin, uncle. He's someone's son FFS. And for the guy that got his jaw broken, maybe next time choose your battles wisely. Your the reason why you can't put food on the table for your starving family. I wonder if you have the balls to tell your kid the reason why yourjaw was broken in the first place. I feel sorry for any kid that has you for a parent. Yes violence isn't the answer, but think about this. I would hate to think how you teach your son's to treat thier future partners. If your sister or mother was being abused, what would be your first response be, coz I know it sure as hell wouldn't be to stand by and do nothing. If you are a guy who is standing up for a woman who is being abused by her partner, it isn't wrong. Sometimes violence against violence is the only answer when your trying to save a persons life. That's not wrong. That's standing up for righteousness. Rongo, brother hold your head up high. We see you back here in Aucks NZ. Your surrounded by so many people that love you. You are a force to be reckoned with. Your a funny af gentle giant. You have come so far, don't ever let the past taint your future. You can't do anything to change what happened on that day, but you can definitely change how you deal with things in the future. The thing is you went away to jail sad, lostand depressed, but in reality that just made you stronger, so in a way they didn't beat you down, they just awakened the "STRONGEST MAORI GAMER" in you. You might be able to take the maori out of NZ, but you definitely can't take the NZ out of the maori . .😂. Stay strong brother. Sending 🙏❤ &🫂 from South Auckland New Zealand 🇳🇿🇼🇸

So people on here are good actors, they act like they have no brains! Of course, the bro shouldn't have punched out that piece of shit. He has to abide by Australian law; showing to be using Legal Force (fend off, yell them off) to subdue the attacker. Here is where it gets tricky; Legal Force works on an individual basis according to your abilities. In the case of some ppl commenting, I'd imagine the force of their punches would be equivalent to a cute teddy bear being thrown at your face - versus the bro's punch, is a real bear slapping your face. Though in extreme danger killing the attacker in self-defence is everyone's legal right. But you'll have to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt (98 to 99 percent). I'm just saying ourrrr!
@RoflJoker19942 жыл бұрын

This is the problem with the Aussie police you charge people on what they appear to be not on what they did. Okay so he could have killed someone but he didn’t one punch, a fractured jaw people have gotten off Scott free because of that it’s only because he’s a big bloke and the title he holds (Australia’s strongest man) that they have given him this much grief. Hope the bloke he punched got in the shit as well
