Heres one of a few configurations for my Ozark Trail camping equipment. In this case I have the 10x10 canopy tent, and the wind/shade skirt for both 10x10 canopies.One was used as a kitchen, and the other as a lounge. I added a refrigerate ac unit powered by a ryobi ryi mac2200 watt 1800 working watt inverter generator with incredible quietness for maximum enjoyment with the family. I also added on the lounge a porta potty/sink combo for the kiddos which they didnt use today. A scored an amazing deal on a 73 quart ozark trail high performance cooler for $45 clearance at Walmart. Awesome setup! I was just thinking of purchasing a 6 person tent for my family of 3, but since I already have a straight leg pop up canopy, this may be even better! And cheaper. I also love the idea of using this setup for your hot foods for catering your cook out. Btw, I already have 2 inflatable queen size sofa beds. It’s great to see in your video how one of these will fit inside of this tent along with our gear. So glad I saw your video. Cute kids btw. Thanks again for sharing!

Thanks so much for your input, I've also have another 2 tents to go as I want to make a complete camping set up. It will include a lavatory combo, a kitchen comple, leaving quarters, and a lounge area. I've also have to make a video on my complete shower system which I've yet to upload!the shower is pretty good setup and will have hot water on demand

Thanks for posting the video not many videos on this product. I was wondering are there any ties or hooks on inside i saw the projector screen for canapy wondering if i can hook that up inside. Again thanks again for posting nice to see a family enjoying the outdoors. 😀👍

Have you closed up the tent insert into the canopy before? I'm about to try that so it will be super ready when we get to a festival and need to set up. I have not tried it yet.

You could erect the canopy halfway and start hooking everything up from the inside of a canopy to the tent

When setting up the tent. Did the plastic elbow connectors come attached to the corners of the fabric roof already or did you have to attach them yourselves.

No they dont come with elbows, they come with hooks,all u need really super easy,takes more time to unfold and spread out fabric than to hook the tent to the canopy frame!😉

I have this exact same set up. Were you able to figure out how to set up the ac so it blows cool air well? With the mesh top were you able to get it to blow and stay cool? I'm torn between a window or portable unit. What's your advice? I live in AZ and want to camp in my connect tent with an AC in 100 degree heat at night. Does it cool during the day well?

I don't like the window units because you really can't move them around and are heavy. I'd use the portable on wheels so you can aim where you want to have it blow to. I've camped in my backyard with this setup and it was able to have a comfortable cooling temp overnight and still be comfortable. The inverter generator does help with the noise reduction and recommend getting the auxiliary gas tank you can attach so you can have longer run time.

@@yashee96 Thanks for the reply.. I was worried that with the roof being mesh that it would be hard to cool. None of the reviews of AC's in tents mentions that.

@@jameschavez4527 remember cold settles at the bottom while heat rises, that won't be much of an issue with an ac unit

I do believe so canopy I would go ahead and spray it with that waterproof coating just to be on the safe side, a whole can would not Be a badd idea and one on the actual tent just to be safe..

Does the tent come with a tarp or something to put on the ground? Also, was this easier to set up than a regular large tent?

No it doesnt come with anything, but you can get tarps for super cheap at harbor freight for like $5, way easier to setup that an actual tent.maybe 5 minutes to setup

I got mine at a discounted price on the fb marketplace but you van check the Walmart app or drive to your local Walmart

@@bosslady9051 they also have the double 10x20 tents online Walmart app and some I believe have the skirting around it . Perfect for that ocassion.i would buy the waterproofing spray and give anything a 2nd coat of it that will be under the rainny Weather. I'll hopefully make another video of a rain setup soon!

How well did your setup withstand rain? I have a week long camping trip planned this summer and would like to find a canopy that does not let the water pool up in the top so badly. (preferably pop up but if not that’s alright) Any recommendations from anyone is appreciated!

I would strongly encourage you to buy that liquid stitch rain proofing spray you can get at the sporting goods section at Walmart's to further your chances of waterproofing your equipment. Sometimes factory made canopies, camping gear etc can have a defective Section or sections. Better safe then sorry

The tent doesn't come with a canopy,but u can anyways find them cheap on Craigslist or the Facebook marketplace

Can you use a slant leg canopy with this tent or does it have to be straight leg ?

It has to be a straight canopy, if it's not, the dimensions of the slant can throw it off or have a very tight fit. You can search on your fb marketplace for great deals on canopies, I got most of my gear off the marketplace for super cheap
