For those wondering, the Exit sign is 2 pieces of glass with a reflective piece of metal sandwiched between. Both glass pieces have the word *EXIT* on them. The sign ‘looks’ transparent, but it’s really just both sides reflecting the same pattern of ceiling.

The land slide was actually an instance of ‘quick clay’ or glaciomarine clay. It is a glacially deposited material that when disturbed and sufficiently low in salt content becomes a liquid and will not re-solidify.

Thank you. I heard about this before and am glad somebody else helped clarify 👍 as I understand it, the clay was laid down below sea level, and since the Ice sheets melted and the land rose above sea level it is just a matter of time and disturbance before more of these happen 😨

The second video is at an R/C airfield here in las vegas. Those are R/C planes. However, Nellis air force base is about 10mi out in the background where you do see amazing aerial maneuvers.

Seriously, I hope that community hero in the sewer is ok. In busier parts of Thailand the bacteria and nastiness that gets collected in the streets get worse when it’s wet and you’re considered gnarly if you walk outside without shoes. Had a buddy get a really bad infection in his foot by doing just that. I can’t imagine what parasites, filth and human waste Kevin was just subjected to.

I've had similar in my house where a cobweb spider goes exploring leaves a single near invisible strand hanging and something stirs up catches on and looks like its floating in mid air until you look at it at just the right angle and see the web strand

The man in poopoo water is something happened here in Jakarta, a few years ago iirc. The sewer got blocked, and the bloody legend pulled whatever thing that plugged the drain and got out and survived. What amuses me is how did he even see things below there.

I remember years ago when my cousin Ray was visiting, and we went and bought a fresh fish from Superstore. They caught the fish from the tank, cut its head off, gutted it, and put it in the bag. As we're driving back to my place, the fish starts flopping around in the bag. We thought it was all calmed down until we were about to put it in the oven, and my brother lined the interior with those super hot Thai peppers. Fish starts flopping all over again.

@@groowanderer No, no one dies in that landslide. A dog was washed to sea, but it swam back to land and survived. The man filming, lived in the white house, he was making some food when he noticed the house started to make weird noises, he then saw the sea retract in the distance. He then ran out of the house and up the hill as fast as he could, only to see the entire area slide away. He was later blamed for the incident as well, because he had dropped like 20 truckloads of gravel on his property, which he thought was allowed, but apparently it wasn't. The weight of this gravel caused the quick clay to give in.

guy is actually a real hero of his community: it seems that the video was made in country like China, Cambodia or Vietnam where if you called public services to report a clogged sewer, they would laugh in to the speaker uncontrollably saying to his colleagues "hey folks, you won't believe: some idiot thinks that we will come and fix his clogged sewer, bwhahaha". So you have a choice: keep living with a clogged sewer with all its benefits (street flooding, constant unbearable smell, etc) or fix it yourself...

That fish flopping around in the oven - I've personally had that happen. We were over at a nearby store that sells fresh fish. You pick your fish as it swims around the tank. Guy takes it out, beheads it, guts it, throws it in the bag. Thing flops around a bit when you're carrying it home. Ten minutes later, you put it in the oven. Thing still flops around. Weird, but you KNOW it's fresh.

The moving package is because the shape of the house is creating a whirlwind when wind hits it at the right angle. It’s super common to see little leaf tornadoes in the fall caused by the same effect.

Watch the moving package in slowest possible speed. Then you can clearly see that it's stop motion photography. This is what it looks like to me. Someone takes a picture of it, one frame only. Then they reach over and move the package slightly. Step out of camera range and take another frame, repeat. In at least one frame you can see part of someone in the frame that just moved the package and didn't get out of the camera's field of view fast enough before the next frame was taken. One of my family members occasionally used to make movies like this with 8mm film.

The planes in sky looking like they're sitting still in sky is a perspective trick. Going in the same direction you can tell its moving, or sitting still it moves, but go against its direction and it seems like it's sitting still. Same with a river flowing.
