My very first concert was the “Diary” tour, and other than just being Randy’s Magnum Opus, this is still one of the most amazing songs ever recorded!

Great job man ! from an old timer that got to see randy live on tour with Ozzy before his untimely death, still one of my favorite guitarists of all time and I still listen to him regularly

So cool. I missed Randy by one day,…meaning he died the day before the concert I was going to see him in Orlando. I still have my ticket:( sad, sad day. I still mourn the devastating loss:( of this virtuoso of metal.

Yeah, it was definitely hard at first. I had been playing the song for at least a year or 2 before I actually covered it. Randy was an amazing guitarist.

Def an awesome song and those chords were a bit rough to learn. Learned this back in the 90's but these days I can't really finger those chords anymore, nerve damage and the pain with it stopped that. Imagine all your fingers trying to cramp and all go different directions. Least I can't still play crowly,crazy train,I don't know, mother earth and suicide solution.

Wow awesome job perfectly done and played I didn't hear one single mistake at all ! That what awesome man ! Randy Rhoades was such a great player and to think up all of those rhythm's and solo's was pure genius! He was absolutely an amazing guitar player ! When I heard he died in that plane crash I was devastated for years as I am also a guitarist! He will never be forgotten !!!

These songs seem very easy to play now today, in the 80s learning materials were scares, of our favorite songs, and my the guitars and equipment was so cheap, les pauls$250.. and large varieties to choose from, the music lives on, Randy was the king of burn. Sounds good brother ... Rock on...

Right on! I play it very similar except for the outro. Instead of palm muting throughout, after a few bars I let the strings ring to add another dimension before the E5 to A5 conclusion. Well played.

This is freaking amazing! When I was a kid we had to wait for a Ozzy on Much Music and quickly take in what little we could from the brief moments we could see Randy's fingers. I would have given you all my allowance and polished you guitar every day had you shown me how to play this. Kids these days are so lucky to have people like you who are willing to put all this work into such an amazing video to demonstrate something of this level of playing. This should have way more views. Thanks so much for demonstrating every part. Hell, after all these years I may just learn it now!

Glad you liked the video! I just like to make my videos so that every guitar part is shown. So that everyone knows how each part is played. I am not Randy by any means but all I can do is get as close to him as possible for the cover. I even quad tracked the solos and the heavier electric guitar parts.

Well done! I’ve always considered this to be the greatest Heavy Metal song and definitely the best Heavy Metal solo. This song is so haunting. And the thing is, Randy wasn’t pleased with the album, as he said he was rushed and didn’t do his best(!). I cannot imagine how much better he would’ve made it had he had time to do it up to his own standards. I still love Randy. And I’m still angry with Andrew Aycock, the pilot who caused the crash. I accidentally came across Randy’s autopsy report and against my better judgement, I read it through. Randy didn’t deserve his terrible death.

Well done young man!! This is my favorite Ozzy song, out of so many. Randy's composing, playing, tone, is spot on. Unfortunately, I heard Eddie commenting that he heard him in Randy's playing and how Randy and others ripped him off. We lost 2 very amazing guitar players. As musicians, writing and composing, IMHO Randy was better. His rhythm playing, blending classical guitar and rock together is amazing! And this particular song is a great example. Not trying to disrespect Eddie, RIP, but it rubbed me wrong the way he talked about Randy. Randy would have given so much more, if it weren't for the accident. Such a loss! Again, great job on the cover!!!!!!

Uh, BRAVO! I'm no musician but I know good sh*t when I hear it. You can't convince me Randy Rhoads wasn't the greatest. Where he was at when he died, and the potential he had in his soul, is why I say this. You can argue any other ax-man, to no avail. MOST that can play RR cannot capture and share the essence. This is best I've seen. I would say capturing the speed changes at the beginning would improve a GREAT product. LLRR! BRAVO, sir. BRAVO
