Very good. This kind of repair is very popular in Mexico. The repair will outlast the tire. I am surprised to see a woman in this type of work. Two thumbs up!

Here in the states tires with sidewall damage are never used again except to be shredded up into tiny pieces

I think she made it weaker by cutting out the thread. She should just have cleaned it out and leave the threads in there.
