Palak paneer paratha is a very easy and simple recipe. It is healthy too as it contains spinach and paneer. This can be a good breakfast or lunch box option. It tastes just awesome. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.
Ingredients:
• 1 cup Water
• Spinach leaves
• 1~2 Green chilies
• 2 Garlic cloves
• 2 cups Wheat flour
• Salt to taste
• Oil
• 250 grams Paneer
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves
• Chili flakes
• Grated Garlic
• 1 tsp Garam masala
• 1 tsp Kasuri methi
• 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
• Salt to taste
• Ghee
Method:
• Boil water in a pan.
• Add spinach leaves and boil for just 3-4 minutes.
• Transfer the boiled spinach into ice cold water. Due to this the green color of spinach is
retained.
• Transfer the spinach into a blender jar and add green chili, garlic cloves.
• Blend everything into smooth puree. Palak puree is ready.
• Take wheat flour into a dish and add salt.
• Mix well and add spinach puree.
• Mix well and knead dough.
• Use the water in which we have boiled the spinach if needed.
• Spread a little oil and knead the dough once more.
• Cover and rest the dough for about 30 minutes.
• Grate paneer into a bowl.
• Add coriander leaves, chili flakes, garlic, garam masala, kasuri methi, cumin powder, salt and
mix everything well together.
• Paneer stuffing is all ready.
• Take the dough and knead it once more to make soft.
• Divide the dough into 4 portions and take one of them.
• Make it smooth and dip it in dry flour.
• Make a pari from it to fill paneer stuffing.
• Fill the paneer stuffing and close the edges.
• Again spread dry flour and roll it into paratha.
• Roll paratha carefully so that stuffing won’t come out.
• Heat up a skillet on medium heat and transfer the rolled paratha on it.
• Roast paratha really good from both sides.
• After roasting a little from lower side, flip it over and roast a little form other side too.
• Spread ghee on upper side and flip the paratha over.
• You can use butter in place of ghee if you want.
• Again spread ghee on other side and roast well.
• When paratha is roasted well from both sides, take it off into a dish.
• Palak paneer paratha is all ready.
• Serve it with curd and pickle or you can have it as it is.
• You can make about 3-4 parathas from 2 cups wheat flour.
