Listened to JRE podcast excerpt in which his guest spoke of being at the Super bowl, in a luxury box with Adele when Stapleton began the Anthem... As he relates, "...Two lines in, Adele", listening, just gasped & exclaimed, "Holy _____!" Making grown men *really* cry, women gasp, and successful "A" list musicians marvel...that's a truly rare gift, and one not wasted on Mr. Stapleton I told my best friend something similar to what Pink said in this clip. I had seen Whitney Houston's Super Bowl national anthem, her pitch-perfect voice ringing like a gorgeous bell, my TV connected through my amp & Klipschorn speakers, & I *thought* I'd never hear its equal...an absolute, declarative vocal performance masterclass. Chris Stapleton's rendition stands co-equal, for the raw, aching emotional strength, every shaded note recalling trials and tribulations, growing pains and wounds of 250+ years of our American history. No other performers I can recall even come close. Ray Charles' and Carrie Underwood's versions were not inconsiderable, but Whitney Houston and Chris Stapleton are very literally in a class all their own.

Chris Stapleton is an amazing artist. Pink is right about his rendition of our national anthem. It was incredibly moving. 68,000 people were in the stadium that day, and they were utterly silent while he was singing. You rarely see that happen, but when it does, you know you are part of a moment that will be remembered long after we are all gone. He's a living legend, and I was lucky enough to see it play out live on my TV. A moment I am grateful for. Now, Pink herself is also an amazing artist. I had no clue they collaborated together, but I am going to go look for the song now. How blessed are we to hear 2 living legends sing together? RIP Whitney Houston. I was a huge fan. Her music was the soundtrack to my youth.

I met Pink and her husband at a resort in California, both of them were extremely humble as well. Pink was very cool, politely shook my hand and I remember saying something stupid like don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone you are here, like other people wouldn’t recognize her. But she was so cool.

Chris Stapleton's concert was by far the best concert I've ever attended and I will go every time he's in Florida! There were people saying "Who is He?" when it was announced he was going to sang the National Anthem. All I could say is "You will learn on Sunday" and now millions more know not only who he is but that he is a GOAT!!!!!

Vince Gill is one of the humblest guys in Nashville. AND sure enough a few months ago, Vince was honored & Chris Stapleton sang for Vince. But he wanted to say something before he sang. Chris was incredibly humble thanking Vince for working with him.

So I worked his concert recently a few months back as a stage hand and at the end of the show , he greeted all the stage hands sincerely thanking all of us and took a few pictures.. something artists don’t really do not to mention we can’t interact with the artists unless they interact with us.. this guy was super genuine

I have heard this before. He is a very very down-to-earth and humble guy. Which is very rare, in today's society. Thank you for the music Chris. Kip Moore, is another very very humble and down to earth individual. He proved that at his show in Glasgow, Scotland. By far, two of the best singers in the industry!

My wife and I just saw him in Winnipeg. Truly a beautiful souls of an artist. Both of his openers are perfect matches for his show. Allen Stone and The War and Treaty moving just moves you heart to know there is good in this world.

I had to find CS singing the National Anthem.....it made me cry. So spiritual the way he sung it. No matter what goes on in this Nation, it just makes you proud to be American!
