It's insane how much power music can have over one's life. I go to work after a weekend of music binging and my coworkers dont understand that I'v'e binged on memories of my brother and I partying together when he was still alive. There are so many memories that I have to face while alive.

This year was a great disappointment for me, I lost my 2 grandmothers, several of my friends cut off contact with me, I was tormented by past traumas all the time, when I heard this song I felt, I felt happy, I felt motivated, I felt strong and energy, when I read the translation of the song, I not only recovered certain feelings that were inside me, I recovered my faith in myself, in myself as a person, I got up again, this year I want to thank many people, all those people gang members, P.O.D. It's one of them, thank you very much.

I'm not christian, but I really enjoy this band and the fact that overall, they write inspirational and positive lyrics. And sonny's got a pretty good voice! Not super crazy about the rapping, but it's not necesarilly bad. This album was definitely in heavy rotation in my walkman when I was in middle school, and it brings back some good memories. :) Glad they're still around making music.

I'm in the video. They filmed this at the VA Beach Amphitheater during the 2002 Lunatic Luau. They were the headline band and played the song a good 8+ times filming from different angles. Good times

This song was part of my childhood fr, when MTV used to play music lol I was locked into the TV every time it would come on, I didn't know the meaning behind the song but now I'm 30 this hits different. Peace to everybody here.

I used to jam this album a bunch as a kid and still listen to their music to this day. Only today, this song makes me think of my Grandmothers that died over the course of the past year. I didn't get closure to either death, but I like to think they are watching and I hope I can make them proud. Thank you P.O.D for being there for me, without being there, when it counts. ❤

Great band with accessible slick songwriting. This 2001 effort really got them on the map and was their best album I think.

This artist is 1 of a kind, that flow isn't heard anywhere else. That's music at it's finest,a national treasure this man really is.

Such a good group... VERY underrated. This song is so different than anything I've ever heard. It's brilliant. I must've played it a hundred times over the years. "It's truly one of a kind, like star-shine beyond nighttime... Are you there? Are you there? Are you there?" Wow.

One of the greatest rock albums ever! My dad played this album a lot when it came out and I was only 8 at the time, but I’ve loved it since the second I heard it!

No words to say how talented this band is. So close to my heart and my nephew who passed means to me.

God I remember being so jealous my little sister had this album. We heard youth of the nation at like 11 or 12 and fell immediately in love. Been periodically listening to p.o.d since. Not a Christian here, but I always liked this song for its catchy melodies, the powerful hook, and its positive message. I remember having this CD back in the day, was awesome, I remember really liking this song, Youth of the Nation, and especially The Messenjah. Hell yeah!

Man P.O.D had a lot of good songs. I grew up listening to this cd as a teenager on my cd walkman. Now in 2022 streaming had taken over and now we listen to songs on youtube, spotify and Pandora. P.O.D will always be one of my favorite bands from the 2000s. When I found out that P.O.D were a Christian rock band I was more glad about it because I'm also a Christian.

I remember being at this concert. The crowd was awesome the band was super tight. What a great night.

I will never forget seeing an advertisement in a sports illustrated and thinking to myself "Awesome, P.O.D. has a new album coming out tomorrow". That tomorrow was September 11, 2001

I remember when this album first came out. Sold out EVERYWHERE. I also remember witnessing firsthand people who bought this album and they ended up getting saved, giving their life to the Lord. POD been saving souls for a long time and should never forget the lord’s work they’ve done and continue to do.

As much as P.O.D. has had relative success, I still feel like they're underrated in the grand scheme of nu metal. Either way, I'm thankful for the jams and memories they've provided
