Actually, there's a really popular theory that the Croats emigrated to the area of today's Croatia from the area of today's Karków. So we might be actually more closely related than we think 🙃🙃

@@Iwanek02 Originally we came from Ukraine, but during mongol invasions of Ukraine we were pushed only into western parts of Ukraine and later on from there we came into southern Poland area after king Vladimir expelled us from Kievan rus because part of us didnt want to take Christianity.Then does pagan Croats lived in Poland for centuries after group of them decided to migrate to modern day Croatia, while some of them later on formed modern day Polish nation with other slavic tribes, so yes, we are very related since both Poles and Croats had same etnogenesis anyways.Poles also migrated into modern day Poland from the east just like us.Back then we were probably all one group of people and being a Pole or a Croat was most likely just geographical terms for same group of people, Pole being a person living in fields, and Croat being a person living in the mountains.Same goes for the Ukrainians in a sence that they were bordermen !

My grandfather, a Canadian, helped liberate the Netherlands. He met some polish people hiding there, and later met more refugees. In his journal, he had nothing but sympathies and respect for the people of Poland.

If the army reforms and all the enormous purchases will succeed, Poland will have #2 land army in Europe after Russia. You should see the numbers... thounsands of high tier machinery, this is insane for such a small country. But in 10-12 years we'll have a land army that can effectively hold Russian aggression on its own. An army that doesn't need to give up an inch of NATO's ground during defense.

Poloneses são eslavos, então pode-se dizer que Rússia, mas como o país passou por muitos processos de ocupação e era da região prussiana, poloneses também têm muito sangue e cultura germânicos. Eu diria que a Polônia é igualmente próxima de ambos, talvez com uma leve puxada pra Rússia.
