After watching this video, I decided to go through Calicut city center on my way to Waynad from Cochin just to eat Paragon biriyani. It was so worth it. The other dishes like prawns, poratta and beef were also awesome. It was so good that we went there again on our way back. Calicut people are lucky!!!

I am originally from Calicut but settled in Kolkata. For people in Calicut food is a way of life & emotion. And Paragon Restaurant is one of the pioneers & most sought after places to satiate the food experience. The last time also I went on vacation in Sept 2018 I had Chicken Biryani from Paragon. Another favourite of mine from Calicut is Mussels (kallumakayi / kaduka) but bought fresh from market & home made😋

Hi Chetta can you please suggest me were can we can have best biryani in Kozhikode , we already try hotel Sager but 😔😔, we just ordered biryani from hotel Sager the chicken taste like boiled chicken and the rice so wet and over cooked and top form we ordered fried rice and chilly fish , I don't know what to say the fish taste like coconut oil and the rice is like they cook for someone else the rice doesn't have any and taste at all.. can you suggest good place for have good and taste food .. I forgot to mention one thing parotta in top form is good ,it's super soft and crispy

മച്ചാനെ പൊളിച്ചു. Super blog! I made it a point to visit Paragon Calicut during my visit to Wayanad, even though it cost me a lot of time to taste it first hand. It was more than worth the time. Hands down the best Biriyani I had.
