This thing has an awesome sequencer and very friendly user interface. But, so far it seems to lean towards more synthy side of synthetic drums. How does the kick drum sound without pitch bend? Does it have a satisfactory click? Can it sound non-distorted? I like the hi-hats and snare, but the kick drum didn't convince me, yet. More demos please.

@erica synths I see in other video you mention you will ship first batch in August. I see some music stores have preorders for a machine that will ship in July. Is this another batch that the stores have?

What about midi channels? Let’s say I want this to be the master and I have 6 synths I want to sync to it, each on their own channel. Does this have the ability? From what I see so far it’s a no

Strange... The units pictured for sale in many stores have only two switches per channel: a mode switch and a filter mode switch - whereas this unit being demoed has three switches per channel: the algorithms switch, modes switch, and filter modes switch.

I really want to be impressed by this, because.....well, just look at it. But why does everything sound so dull and dirty. Is it just the programming? Can this thing do clean and punchy and well as distorted/lo-fi??

I've got a Roland TR-8s, a Syntakt, a DFAM, heck even simpler things like Novation Circuits and such. This is another totally unique drum experience. It's pricey indeed - on the wishlist for sure. At $2600-2700 CAD plus 13% tax its not cheap, but someday.

Whenever I randomly f.forward into this vid.. this dude is talking, and not the synth pumping. Boys and girls, lesson nr 1: when an instructor is talking more than playing the thing, be sure that the machine at hand is either garbage or its definitely not worth the price they ask for.

Must be one of the ugliest synths I have seen in a while. Also the sounds are very bright and metal like. I like that you can use the filters live etc but honestly I got a mixxer on the side for my setup.
